Niall and I laid in bed not saying anything just relaxing in each others presence. I knew that once his alarm went off and we were both on our way to school their will be questions. And I'm not completely sure that I'm ready for that, beep beep beep. That's the horrid sound of an alarm going off. "Delilah we need to get up." "I know, I'm just not ready for today." Niall sat up and pulled me into his lap. he looked into my eyes and said, "Hey listen to me, you can take as long as you need. For all I'm concerned were sick and can't make it to school." "No it's not that I'm not ready for school, I'm just ready for the questions and explanations." Niall just pulled me into a giant hug. I started crying softly. We just sat their in each other embrace. "Niall you have to get ready for school. Oh, Delilah what's wrong?" Um, nothing." I looked down not wanting to explain the bruise on my face. "Niall." His mother gave him a look that said what-is-going-the-fuck-on. "Can you call us in sick?" "Not until you tell me why. Delilah you can trust me." I looked up and she inhaled sharply. "Who did that to you?" She asked walking over and examining my bruise. "My uncle." I mumbled quietly. "What?" she asked obviously she didn't hear my mumble. "Her uncle did it last night when I went to take her home." Niall answered for me. I gave a small smile, thanking him for answering. "Omg we need to call the police." "No,no,no. A million times no." "Delilah we need to do something. He can't get away with this." "He said he would kill me either before or when he got out." "I won't let anything happen to you." Niall pulled me into a giant hug again. After Maura called the cops Greg came up to me and wrapped me into a hug whispering that I can always talk to him if needed. I whispered a quit thanks and walked over to Niall. "The cops are here." He said and led me over to a very scary looking guy in a uniform. "Hello, I'm Officer Payne. Can you please tell me when the abuse started."

After police questioned Delilah

"Hey Delilah I'm tired I'm gonna go to bed." Niall said as he started walking up the stairs. "Me too, can I sleep with you again." "Yea anytime." And with that you and Niall walked upstairs and slept.
