Camila and Lauren sat in that room in comfortable silence. After Lauren's words, all Camila wanted to do was hold her. So she did. Camila was sat upon Lauren's lap on the floor, with Lauren's arms wrapped around her back greedily, and Camila's arms were in Lauren's hair, softly playing with the dark haired Goddess' locks. Camila kept feeding her soft kisses to her head every now and then, taking in her intoxicating smell that was dangerously seductive.

"We can't stay like this forever," Camila decided to speak after she saw the candles in the room close to extinguishing, "Yes, we can", Lauren nuzzled her head closer to Camila's chest, "We are Gods, we can literally spend an eternity like this." Camila chuckled at her child-like behavior and pulled her face away from the top of her head, holding Lauren's face in her hands to stare into her eyes as she told her, "and Rome? What happens to the war if we stay like this?", Lauren answered without skipping a beat, "I have no interest in wars when you are with me." Camila smiled at her lovingly, and wrapped her arms around Lauren's waist, but Lauren flinched in pain. Camila instinctively furrowed her eyebrows and had a pained expression take over her face. All Lauren could think about was how adorable the woman was, not paying any attention to the wound she got that day.

Camila stood up and carefully ushered Lauren to her feet. Lauren walked slowly to the bathroom with Camila's gentle hands wrapped around her to guide her. Camila pulled back the curtains seperating the bathroom from the bedroom and led Lauren to sit on the counter. The Goddess of Love then slowly approached Lauren, and hesitantly took her shirt off, keeping in my mind Lauren's wounds. Once the shirt was off, Camila saw a brutal looking cut running from Lauren's waist, to the other side of her belly button. Camila took a deep breath to steady herself, as she was never a fan of pain. Lauren had been staring at Camila the entire time, figuring out her reactions, which weren't hard to figure out because her woman was an open book, her face showed enough emotion when words couldn't. Lauren took her hand and placed it in her lap, "Don't feel any pain for me, I brought this upon myself, and I can handle it. It's just a little wound, my Camila. There's nothing you can do to help me." Lauren then gave her a sweet smile, trying to hide the pain. Camila looked up at her, alternating between each emerald gem, "Yes, yes there is." Camila then grabbed a piece of cloth and soaked it with water, carefully cleaning the blood from Lauren's stomach and sides.

After she was done, she laid the cloth aside and stepped closer between Lauren's legs. Lauren carried a look of amusement in her eyes, her mind drifting to lust, which was interrupted by the increasing pain she was feeling in her stomach. Lauren cried out, then looked at the source of her pain. Camila had been running her smooth hands along the rough wound, but what she was leaving in its place was a healed wound. Lauren's eyes widened, pain no longer a factor, just pure shock at what was happening. Camila's fingertips had traced the entirety of the wound, completely ridding Lauren of pain. It was like magic. Lauren jumped off the counter to assess her pain, stretching her limbs experimentally. Then she turned around with her back to Camila to look at herself in the mirror, gently grabbing Camila's arms and wrapping them around her own waist. Lauren looked at Camila's reflection with droopy eyes, totally content with this moment.

Camila however had a slightly discomforting look on her face, to which Lauren quickly faced her and grabbed her waist protectively with an inquiring look. Camila softly responded, "I can heal. But it only works if I take the pain. Don't worry Lo. Don't feel any pain for me, I brought this upon myself, and I can handle it. It's just a little wound, my Lauren. There's nothing you can do to help me." Camila smirked devilshly, imitating Lauren's words. Lauren made no effort to hide her feelings, and threw her head back in laughter, arms still gripping Camila's waist. Lauren's wild character and melodic laughter broke Camila into a giggle fit, which she couldn't control any longer.

After both of them quieted down, Lauren started slowly reaching for Camila's face, starting from her waist, leaving residue of flame where ever her fingertips traced. Lauren took Camila's face gently between her hands, and inched closer. Their breathing now hitting eachother's lips, intermingling and creating a larger desire for one another. Camila closed her eyes at the dangerous feeling of having Lauren so close to her, lips parting in anticipation, but mainly for catching her breath. Lauren was lost in the calmness and tenderness Camila brought her. She looked between her lips and her closed eyes, marveling at the beauty that is now so close to her. Lauren then whispered softly, "Yes, yes there is." then took her lips between her own, losing herself in Camila and Camila in her. The kiss that started off gentle was now dangerously becoming fueled with passion. Which was expected. What else do you expect from total opposites? Nothing less than a destructive clash, nothing less than a burning fire.

Lauren was the first to pull away from the kiss, hands still holding Camila's face, while Camila's hands were intertwined with Lauren's locks, grabbing onto them gently to steady herself. After a moment, Lauren took Camila's hand, walking backwards towards the bedroom, with an inviting look in her green eyes. Camila, still a daze from the kiss, could only follow, blood rushing from thoughts of the night to come. Lauren reached the bed and sat on the edge, pulling Camila on top of her to straddle her thighs. Lauren played with the hem of Camila's shirt, slowly taking it off to reveal Camila's smooth abdomen, and soft chest. Lauren's eyes were a fiery green at the sight, and Camila was lost in them. Lauren slowly placed her hands on Camila's abdomen, tracing the sharp lines there, and circling her thumb around her waist. Camila had her eyes closed, trying to keep her breathing under control, but the moment was too intense for her to fathom.

Lauren then spoke, only above a whisper, "There's this thing I've read about in stories, and heard about from heroes and lovers. A thing I am unfamiliar to. A thing I would like to share with you, if you let me." Lauren took a low breath, cheeks blushing from having to speak so honestly and with so much love, something she never did. Lauren looked up to stare at Camila's eyes, that were staring back at her with a tenderness no one has ever graced her with. She was sure she would be content with only having that memory for the rest of her life. Lauren's eyes alternated between Camila's as she told her, "Make love to me, Camila." The Goddess of love silently consented as she pushed Lauren back and took her lips for the second time today.

Ice and fire clashed in that bedroom that night. There was love, and there was war. Destruction and creation. The world existed in that bedroom, and it danced in the stars that night. All opposing sides of battles decided to love rather than hurt that night.
But this magic couldn't have lasted longer, than that night.
