The next day, Camila woke up to an empty bed. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and sat up to look around. The room was cleaner than the night before. The books splattered on the floor were now on a shelf, and the guitar Lauren played on was not on the floor anymore, but in a wooden case.

This springed Camila into action, thinking Lauren has left without saying goodbye. She grabbed a shirt and sweatpants (A/N: yes Goddesses wear sweatpants too) from the closet next to the bed, quickly put them on, and sprinted outside of the bedroom to the hall. There were too many rooms in the mansion and Camila was too anxious, turning around and around, debating which room to explore first. Then she heard a sweet singing voice coming from the room to her right, so she followed the sound until she reached the kitchen. Her raging heart calmed down as soon as she saw Lauren. She was making pancakes, dressed in an oversized white shirt, all the while lightly humming a tune to a song Camila recognized to be the one she sang for her last night.

Camila approached Lauren with a smile on her face, and wrapped her tan arms around her waist possesively, glad that Lauren didn't leave without saying goodbye to her first. Lauren leaned into Camila's embrace and turned her face around to kiss her temple.

"I thought you left," Camila said with a shaky voice she tried to hide. "I wouldn't dream of leaving without a goodbye kiss, who do you think I am?" Lauren chuckled as she told her. "Mine. I don't care what you are, I only care that you are mine", the tanned Goddess squeezed her arms around Lauren harder, like she was trying to etch the shape of Lauren against her body into her memory. "I am Camila. Always", Lauren breathed with a smile on her face, "I made pancakes, I figured you would be hungry. Also tea. I'm not sure if you like tea, but I could make some coffee if you w-" Camila interrupted her with a twirl and an affirmative kiss, "Tea is fine. Thank you." Camila smiled and took the cup from Lauren's hand. They had breakfast in the kitchen while sharing stories they have been through in their many centuries on earth. Some funny, some silly, some romantic, some sad. It didn't matter what the story was, they wanted to know every little thing about the other person. They couldn't get enough of eachother's existence and they silently thanked the cosmos for bringing them together that night, many years ago, with the stars at their feet, and a novel waiting to unravel their many stories that they would share together.

"Get dressed, Camz" Lauren spoke excitedly as she jumped off the counter, and slapped Camila's perky ass, "I want to see the city with you before we have to go." Camila's smile was bitter-sweet, but she was excited to be spending more time with Lauren.

After they got dressed, Lauren pulled her car out front and pulled the door open for Camila. The drive was long, but the two Goddesses wouldn't stop talking, couldn't stop being infatuated with eachother. There was a silence after Lauren wouldn't tell Camila where they were going, making the tan goddess impatient, which Lauren made sure to ease with a kiss on her knuckles.

They stopped at a 247 supermarket to get some snacks, which made Camila more confused about where they were headed. "You get the snacks, I'll get the drinks," Lauren said with a playful wave of her eyebrows. Camila shook her head and smirked at her, and headed down to the snacks aisle. She never understood how mortals liked to indulge in weird culinary creations. Her eyes traced the numerous collections of chocolate and cereal and tried to pick out food for the day. 'What the fuck is a lucky charms' the graceful goddess thought to herself before she picked up the box and added it to the cart, curiosity getting the best of her. She added some chocolate that caught her eye, and topped off with some chips. Camila felt Lauren's footsteps approach her as she turned around to face the goddess holding two bottles of wine. "Rose or white?" Lauren asked, eyeing the two bottles, "Red" Camila replied with a low tone and a playful gaze. Lauren nodded and went back to get two bottles of red wine. They met up at the cashier and placed the stuff they got on the belt, which earned them a weird look from the employee. They were like teenagers, with lucky charms and wine, a weird combination, but so were they. Camila smiled awkwardly at the employee and nudged Lauren's shoulder playfully.
