You Never Know.

Chapter 2

*Fast Forward 2 weeks*

It was the day before I left for England, and I spent the majority of the day packing. My mom offered to help, but I declined, even though we were close, I still needed time for myself.

Today is the day. I had been looking forward to this trip for the past six months. My dad dropped me off at school. I gave him a hug and went to join my friends, all were equally as excited as I was.

"Be good!" my dad told me as he drove away. I blew a kiss and rejoined the conversation.

In a short 4 hours, we would be headed out of Canada and on our way to the land of fish 'n chips. I don't think I've mentioned, I've wanted to go to England since I was 6 years old. So this is kind of a dream come true.

We boarded the bus for Toronto, and that was it, we were off. It was about an 8 hour flight, and I slept maybe 3 hours. It was 10pm by the time everyone got their suitcases. We got a bus to the hotel and were instructed to head to bed. Tomorrow was the one day we had something very important to do: Go to 3 museums by 5pm.

I really like history, I was probably the only one that actually enjoyed the museums. We finished up a little early and were told that we could go for supper anywhere we wanted. My friends and I decided that since we were in London, we would get fish 'n chips. How else were we supposed to celebrate being in this fantastic city?

The next day, we had the day to ourselves. Sophie and I were sharing a room and we both woke up around 10am. After showering, hair, makeup and getting dressed, we decided to go to the mall and go shopping.

"I'll catch up in a bit". I told Sophie and gestured towards Starbucks. Even though I slept fairly well last night, some coffee wouldn't hurt.

I told the woman working my order and waited off to the side. Right behind me in line was one of the most attractive men I had ever seen. He was rather tall with dark brown hair and quite tan skin for someone living in England.

"And what's the name for the cup sir?" I heard the lady ask him. "Dan." he responded.

A/N and again, I am writing this at work. I'm sorry for the cliffhanger, but I might be publishing 2 chapters today. I know exactly what I want to happened in the next chapter. Feedback would be amazing. And I'm also sorry this chapter isn't longer, I tried. They will hopefully get longer as the story develops.
