“remember when we were at the cabin

and we snuck out at midnight to go

to the lake?” she asked with hopeful eyes.

a small smile appeared on his lips

at the thought, he laughed

“and i convinced you it was okay

to skinny dip, that the water was warm.”

she giggled, “it was not warm and

i froze all the way back to the lodge.”

“but i kept you warm,” he added smiling.

she bit her lip, “yeah” she whispered,

“you did… your mom was so mad,

not that we went skinny dipping, she

would have been pissed if she knew we

did that.”

“yeah” he turned away from her, his smile

now a frown, eyes covered in ice.
