The man that's all i could think about late at night.i hadn't gotten a good night's sleep in days. Louis was alseep next to me. His mouth opened slightly letting out quiet snores. I chewed on my bottom lip. Trying to figure out who the creep was. For all i know he could be outside watching us. Sighing in defeat i slipped out of bed slowly. I entered the kitchen and grabbed a glass without turning the light on. It was silent aside from the wind howling and the tree's limbs scratching at the windows. I sipped from my glass and closed my eyes. The past few days have been draining. Not only for me but the boys as well. They have been in interviews nonstop. I feel like i hardly ever see them anymore. Louis had told the media about us and the fans reacted how i thought they would. A few death threats here an there. Tons of hate and every once in a while a nice comment. My head snapped up when i heard a noise from the back door. I set the glass down and moved towards it like an idiot. Stopping just a few feet short of the knob i listened intently for the noise to re-appear. Just as i was about to head back upstairs there it was again. I frowned and jerked open the door. To come face to face with a cute little lab. Her yellow coat was muddied and had twigs and what appeared to be blood caked into it. I whistled low under my breath. Bending down i managed to get the dog to sniff my hand before it snorted and backed away quickly.
"Come here baby." I cooed as i walked closer. Little did i know that that was exactly what was meant to happen. The dog turned and looked over my shoulder. i followed her line of sight and let out an ear-splitting scream. Before i was knocked over the head with a lead pipe. I felt the jarring impact of my body hit the cold patio. My head cracked and blood oozed from the wound. My vision was blurry and black dots were forming out of no where. All i could think was that one of the boys had heard and where coming to help. No such luck. My body was lifted into the air and the person was humming a happy tune. I groaned in pain as they threw me into the back of a truck. My vision darkened and i lost conciousness.
Awaking i felt like i had been hit with an anvel from one of the old cartoons. I tried moving my hands but they were taped behind my back. My throat ran drive. I was laying in a mattress, my hands and ankles taped and tied together. I had a nasty rag shoved in my mouth to silence my screams. Tears poured down my cheeks. I fought against the restraints with all my might. Rubbing my wrists raw. I was terrified of looking at my surroundings. Though i knew that i wasn't going to get out of here any time soon. I peered around and noticed a heavy metal door off to my right. Suddenly it creaked and i jumped back in fright. A head lurked from around the corner with a grin across their lips. It was a women she had long wavy blonde hair and friendly blue eyes but a creul smile. She walked over her footsteps not making a sound and ripped the gag from my mouth.
"Ah its finally good to have you back under my care Isla." Her voice was sharp and clipped. I flinched when she looked at me.
"Isla? I'm sorry but I think you have the wrong girl. My name is Harmony." I corrected her. Her smile faded and she tutted under her breath.
"Honestly Isla even with your memory gone you still don't happen to remember how dreafully stupid you are sometimes. Your real name is Isla though you wanted to change it to Harmony. Why is beyond my imagination." She grumbled. I shook my head in confusion. She was about to add something when the door opened and the man from a few days ago came in carrying someone else over his shoulder. My heart constricted when i noticed it was one of the boys.
"Just toss him over in the corner with the rest." The lady commanded not taking her eyes off me.
"Your little friends put up quite a good fight." My breathened deepened.
"Especially the one with brown hair and bright blue eyes." I bit down on my tongue to keep harsh words from flowing out. I felt sick. when she noticed my expression she laughed and turned on her heel. Not giving me a second glance.
"Oh dear daughter," She said her back still to me,"Do make yourself at home." With that the door banged shut cutting off her cackles. My head spun, daughter? Daughter, how could i be that monster's daughter. Just no, no that's not possible. I heard a low groan of pain and a few curses as the boys awoke from their sleep. I wanted Louis. I wanted him to hold me and tell me it was all just a bad dream and that everything was okay. But i knew it was a lie. Nothing was ever okay to begin with. i felt warm hands touch the top of my head where my wound was. I jerked away and met Louis' eyes with my own. He had a black eye, and a busted lip. Apparently looked worse because his eyes widened and his mouth parted in shock.
"Oh gosh Louis im so sorry!" I cried. My walls finally breaking from all the stress of meeting Louis and the boys and remembering things of my horrid past. I'm surprised i hadn't been institutionalised in my early years. He reached out and without saying anything took me into his arms and kissed my forehead. The other boys crowded around the two of us and we sat in silence. The sound of my sobs echoing off th room's walls. I knew we were getting out of here. Somewhere in them to they realized it as well.
