"Alright move on, soldiers! Next!" I ordered. Being a heir to a throne (She doesn't know that her parents are the Grand Master of the Templars), the head guard, and a girl at the same time is hard work. First of all, I have to do my chores, which could've been done by the maid, but she needs to rest, she's sick. When I wake up from my "beauty" sleep, more like just recharging my energy and voice because I always worn my voice out by yelling commands, which I hate doing. But at last I can't do anything about it.
"Miss, excuse me? I was just wondering where I can find the church and the castle, I, uh, have a meeting with both the priest and Grand Master." A man, wearing a navy blue cloak with dark colored eyes and dark hair, came out from behind me and tapped me lightly on my shoulder.
He looked like a young, brilliant, and mature man, which had interrupted my thoughts completely. Did I just say that?
"Oh! You mean my father correct?" I asked with a smile. "Just follow me and I'll show you the way! Guards, to your positions and make sure nothing happens!"
Darn it, I thought. I could be out and about without the guards, or the Templars (But yet I say that!)watching my every single step.
I directed the man over to where the church was, right next to the castle. I smiled back at the beautiful young man, trying to look my best in that moment,
"There you go, young man. The church is right next to the castle just like you asked."
He smiled back, showing off some perfect, white teeth. "Thank you, votre altesse. I am very grateful." He leaned over to kiss my hand, I blushed fiercely.
"I-it was nothing, er you're welcome." I stammered, feeling a wave of total embarrassment.
He chuckled, waving back at me as he disappeared into the church. I sighed, feeling an urge to follow him in, but I didn't.
I started to walk in the direction of the Templar's base, feeling disappointed. I then stopped to the sound of someone calling me from behind,
"Wait! Votre altesse!" It called, I turned back. There he was, the beautiful man, panting as he walked slower towards me.
"I did not catch your name." He said to me, out of breath. I smiled, feeling my heart pounding out of my chest.
"My name is Yuki Neige, what is your name, monsieur?" A grin started to form on his face,
"The name is Arno Victor Dorian, pleasure to meet you, mademoiselle." I blushed, he held out his hand.
I gladly took it, shaking our hands together. He looked back at the church, then back at me,
"When can I see you again, Princess?" He asks me, I gazed over at the castle, then trailed my eyes back to him,
"Tonight, at midnight sharp. Near the fountain side?" I ask, he nods viciously,
"Tonight it is." He says, letting go of my hand as he waves goodbye again, I wave back, then happily walked back to my castle.
When he was out of sight, I squealed and jumped around like a child who had just gotten a lollipop. I even twirled around in my pretty flowing dress. I haven't acted like this in forever (For the first time in forever, I'll be dancing through the night! I love you if you get that!).The last time I was like this, it was when I found out that an evil man we were trying to catch was finally going to prison.
Honestly, I think I'm starting to have a crush on him, just a little! No joke. I like him already, but what was his name again? Oh, it was Arno!
After squealing around in excitement, someone started to laugh behind me, I heard footsteps coming from behind.
I turned around instantly, looking up into my father's eyes, "Father! Oh I didn't see you there, what are you doing out here? You told me you were busy for the day?"
He chuckles down at me, "Sorry to disappoint my dear, but I was just coming outside to get you. I finished up pretty early, and I came over to see you bouncing up and around, what made you so happy?" He asks me. I stiffened, knowing the last time I told him I was meeting a guy, his reaction came into my head instantly.
"Absolutely not I will have this man punished and sent away to our city in the north. I do not tolerate this, I don't want to hear another word about guys until you are ready for marriage plans, but today is not the day. Go to your room!" The memory of it popped into my head. Father's words were cruel, and we hadn't spoken until after a week! I hadn't spoken to any guys besides our soldiers since.
I shook my head, coming up with an idea, "Nothing important father. I'm just in a good mood. What is it that you needed me for?"
He smiles, "Oh, yes. I was wondering if you wanted to go out for a stroll in the garden, what do you think, my sweet?"
I nodded, "Yes, why not. I'd love to look at how the flowers are doing, I just planted them yesterday."
He hands out his arm, I wrap mine around it. We started our way towards the garden. As we were talking and examining the flowers, we had
a good laugh, but I couldn't stop thinking about Arno. The details of his face, the way he spoke, the sparkle in his beautiful eyes. Gah! Stop thinking about him, Yuki. Hold it together around your father, I say forcefully to myself, pushing the thought away.
When I got back into reality, I looked up to Father laughing again, I looked at him with a puzzled look,
"Father, why are you laughing?" I asked him, he shook his head. "Nothing, dear. I just thought your blanking out sessions were humorous, but I shouldn't be laughing at that, my apologies. Is there something in mind that's important?"
I flushed, suddenly feeling embarrassed, "Oh no Father, I'm just tired."
He nods slowly, squinting his eyes down at me, "Are you sure?" He asked,
I nodded, "Definitely, bouncing around and all tired me out." I say, chuckling nervously. What if he finds out?! I thought. That would be bad, and I really like this guy too. I prayed in that moment that he wouldn't find out, it would totally mess up everything!
He nods, chuckling with me. "Okay, get some early rest then for tonight."
I nod, "I will." I lied. I wasn't tired, and I wasn't going to get any sleep tonight at all.A/N (Author's Note): Yay! Finally got one chapter done!
