Backstory:
He was a slave for Alois and did his every command. Claude would torture him in his spider form quite often, that's why his fear is spiders. Alois had kidnapped Ceil once, and Sebastian came to bring him back. They made a deal with Merlin and the deal was if he was a good cook, he would stay at the Phantomhive mansion. But this is a bonus for Ceil, Ceil loooves desserts, and Merlin usually makes desserts, so it was a good deal.
