Chapter 9

Simon's POV
Right now Cal and I are driving back to the sidemen house, because Cal is sleeping over. We left once Megan was in okay shape to drive herself home, because if you got told your mum dies tomorrow that's a shock. We are leaving early in the morning to pick Megan up then basically take a road trip to their parents house, to visit. I was shocked when Cal asked if I wanted to come, but no matter what, I'll always be there for Cal and even if Meg is my ex, I want to be there for both of them.

*car ride*

"*sighs* okay Cal, we need to talk about something." He was still paying attention to the road but looked over at me with a concerned look on his face. "Uhh okay? What's wrong Si?" "Your parents." "Oh. Why do we need to talk about them?" "How are we going to tell them about us? You know how they feel about gays." His eyes went huge and looked around the road. There wasn't much cars, just a few on the road. He pulled over to the side where no one could crash into the car, and he put the car in park.

"Cal? What are you doing?" "Shit Simon. I completely forgot how my dad feels about gays." He said while looking down in disappointment.

Cal's POV
Shit! Let me tell you something about my parents. They are against gays and bi's. They think it is absolutely disgusting for someone to like the same sex as them. My mum isn't as bad as my dad. My dad would disown me if he found out I was gay. I'm totally scared now. "Cal. Don't worry, we will figure this out together." He said and reached out his hand and grabbed my hand and held it in his. My hand was so cold and it warmed up once he wrapped his hand around mine. Again, like everyday, a tear slipped down my cheek.

Simon softly grabbed my chin and kissed away the tear. I wrapped my arms around his torso and softly cried into his chest. "Shh. We'll figure this out. Shh." He softly whispered. "I'm just so scared to tell them. My mum is going to be so disappointed in me. Tomorrow's her last day on earth and she gets to find out her son is a fag who's gay." "Shh cal. That's not true. You or I are not fags. Just because we love each other, doesn't mean anything to other people." "I understand, but what about your parents?"
"*sighs* small steps. First your parents, then mine. You know how much my parents love you. You definitely would need some of my mum's love, after your parents. Not that your parents are horrible." "*chuckles* lol Simon. It's okay. Come on, let's just get home."

*time skip*

Simon's POV
Cal and I got inside the house and decided that we were going to tell the guys about his mum.

We walked into the kitchen to of course find Vikk eating cereal. "Yo Vikk!" I said. "Huh? Of hi guys!" "Vikk, where's all the guys?" I asked. "Living room why?" "All of them?" "Yes Simon, all of them. Why?" "Okay and we need to talk to all of you guys about someone." Cal butted in. "Uhhhh okay? You need me too?" "We said all Vikk." "Mhmm, okay. Let's go." "No surprise that you're eating cereal." Cal said chuckling. "Hey! Cereal's good! *whispers* better than cheese." "AYE! Cheese is better than cereal! Cal choose a side! Team Cereal or Team Cheese?" "Ummm, I choose Team Pizza!" "WHAT?!!" Cal just chucked and ran into the living room skipping. "TEAM PIZZA ALL DA WAY!" He yelled. "*chuckles* I love him so much."

"Huh? What was that Simon?" Vikk said smirking. "Shush Vikk." I said chuckling. "Mhmm."

Cal's POV
"Hey guys! Simon and I need to tell you something." I said while looking at Simon, while giving him the *come here look*. Simon walked up and held my hand in his. "Guyyys? What's this?" JJ said in his concerned voice. "Guys we need to tell you something about Cal's mum." "Is something wrong with her?" Ethan asked. Oh Ethan. He's gonna be devastated when he finds out, because my mum LOVED Ethan and he loved her so much.

"Ethan I'm sorry. My mum has cancer." "W-what?! N-no!" "Yes Ethan and the devastating thing, is that she dies tomorrow..." I said while looking down. "*gasps*" there were gasps from everyone, except Ethan. He was crying.

Ethan's POV
No. This can't happen. I haven't even seen Mrs. Airey since last year. Mrs. Airey is the nicest, sweetest, most loving women ever and knowing that she dies tomorrow is devastating. I've known Cal's family for years and Mrs. Airey is practically my second mother. Our families loved each other and Cal and I played with each other all the time.

While I reminiscing the memories of the Airey family, I heard Cal's voice. I felt tears drip off my cheek. I didn't even realize I was crying, I thought.

"Ethan? Are you okay?" Cal asked concerned. "*sniffs* mmh? Oh uhh, sure.." "Ethan. No you're not. I've known you for years and I know when you're not okay." I lifted my head to realize the guys had all left.

Even Simon.

I'm surprised he would leave Cal to talk to me, because I also really like Cal. I don't know if Simon knows, but the guys know. I've liked Cal for forever! Now Simon came in and now it's Minifreezy.

"Sit. We need to talk about something." I said no longer in a sad voice, but in a stern voice. "Uhh okay? What's wrong Ethan?" "We need to talk about you." "Me? I thought we were talking my mum?" "We will, but first I need to talk to you about something." "And what's that Ethan?"

"Our relationship."

Ooohh! Cliffhanger!

Did Ethan and Cal have a previous "relationship" or is this Ethan expressing his feelings for Cal?? I dunno!! You're gonna find out soon!!!
