Meghan's p.o.v
Then a hand grabbed my hand. Luckily it was only Cameron.
"What's wrong?"he asked.
"I'll explain later, but as of now I need to leave" I answered looking for an available taxi.
"I'll take you home. You can explain in the car"
"No, you don't have to just go with your friends"
"I'm taking you home"
I nodded in defeat. I followed him to his car and we got in. Cameron started the car and drove on the main road.
"Start talking" Cameron's demanding voice said.
"I don't really know if I should tell you. Carter might not like that." I said looking down.
"I don't care about what Carter likes and what he doesn't, so just tell me"
"It all started my freshman year, I had a crush on Carter. He was the MVP of our basketball team, and I was the captain of the volleyball team. Me and Carter got closer that year, and by late September we were officially dating. We were the schools "IT" couple. We lasted until Senior year, when he cheated on me. He went behind my back with my best friend, Gabby. Not only her though, but he cheated on me multiple times throughout our relationship. He went into drugs and became part of a gang. I never knew because he never told me."
"So then how did you find out?"
"He betrayed his gang, then ran away. The leader thought if they kidnapped me he would come back but he didn't. I was abused and starved there. I was like that for about a month until the cops found me."
"That's awful! What happened next?"
"Well they went to jail, Carter returns home, and I basically lived in the hospital. I was broken everywhere and it was like he didn't care."
