chapter 4

The day after we found redneck I went to school

After school I was walking home when a truck pulled up next to me I wasn't scared because I'm a black belt In karate the guy got out of the car I was about to attack him but I froze it was Yates "Elena carisi.. how are you" I turned to run away but I felt Yates grab me and slap me hard I passed out

*At the station*

"She should be back by now" carisi said barba walked in and "so your telling me you let your daughter go to school when a complete crazy serial killer is out there somewhere that has already kidnapped her once and is now possibly kidnapped her again" barba said clearly angry. Elena was like a sister to him even though then we're ages apart they were like sister and brother have their good times and bad. Carisi ran a hand through his hair he sighed "this is all my fault I should have known I'm a terrible father" Benson put a hand on carisi shoulder "we'll find her carisi"

*At a house* I woke up as Yates brought me to a house it was in the middle of the woods he brought me inside he had a gun I saw a dad and a girl Yates pointed the gun to the dad Yates didnt see the girl I had a free arm so I pointed to the table the girl slowly went under the table so Yates wouldn't notice Yates brought me upstairs and tied me to a chair he slapped me he also put tape over my mouth he took a screwdriver and dug it into my leg I screamed even thought my scream was muffled he smiled he took the tape off "p-please let me go" I was crying now Yates chuckled and said "your just like Nadia.. 'please let me go I'll do anything' well guess what I won't kill you myself but I'll leave you for dead" I screamed as loud as I can to see if anyone could hear me Yates slapped me hard and took the gun and shot my shoulder he put the tape back on my lips and left I passed out after that

*Carisi pov*
Dodds called us and told us to come to the woods when we arrived he had a bullet through his shoulder we took him to the hospital
We were all searching the woods till we saw Erin she came to us and said "Yates escaped" I scoffed "did he have Elena" Erin shook her head I heard someone say "detectives I got something" I ran to the house the officer found me and Erin walked in she took the girl from under the table I went upstairs I looked in a room and saw Elena tied to a chair and blood everywhere I ran up to her and felt her pulse she had a pulse... Thank god "Elena" I whispered she didn't respond tears were stinging my eyes I grabbed the walky talky and said "1013 1013 I need a bus up here NOW we got a gun shot and a stabbing pulse is very faint" I heard the dispatcher say "copy that" I turned around to see fin and Rollins they looked at me and then at Elena I turned back to Elena "Elena it's me it's dad.. your gonna be ok I promise" I took the tape off of Elena's mouth and i untied her I gently picked her up and layed her on the floor I took off my jacket and pressed it on to the bullet wound I looked at fin he came up to me he bent down and slowly pulled the screwdriver out of Elena's leg and he also took his jacket off and tied it around Elena's leg I saw Rollins grab her walky talky and said "what's taking so long we have a life on the line" I saw Elena twitch "d-daddy" Elena whispered I looked at Elena and said "daddys here your gonna be ok princess" the bus finally came and took Elena to the hospital

We all waited for Elena to be out of surgery I was on the couch my leg was shaking I saw a doctor come out with blood all over his suit he said "carisi" I stood up and went over to him "how is she" I said the doctor sighed and said "she has alot of injury's if you guys didn't find her at that time that you did she would have passed away...Anyway she has a broken leg, a critical gun shot wound on her shoulder and broken ribs.. there was signs of physical abuse but there were no signs of sexual abuse" I sighed in relief

I told Benson everything and she said "ok well we have to imterragate her she has to know where Yates is going"
"Oh no no no no and did I mention no... We are gonna to take her statement not interrogate her she's a victim not a suspect.. plus the doctor said that she had to have been passed out for 2 hours which gives Yates time to leave with no witnesses noticing" Benson sighed and nodded

We walked into the hospital room and I saw Elena I almost cried "daddy" Elena said Olivia went to Elena and said "Elena could you tell us what happened" Elena nodded and took a deep breath in and out she said "I was walking home from school when a truck pulled up Yates got out of the car and he punched me in the face next thing I know I wake up in a truck we pulled up in the woods and entered a house... I saw a girl and her dad Yates went after the dad and took the dad outside I told the little girl to hide under the table and she did Yates came back in and grabbed me and tied me to a chair he stabbed me with the screwdriver and he kept hitting me after he told me I was like Nadia but he wasn't gonna kill me.. last thing I remember was being shot in the shoulder then I woke up in the hospital" Olivia nodded while getting everything down on the notebook me and her exited the hospital room I clutched my fist and said "I'm gonna kill this son of a bitch for hurting my daughter"

The manhunt began for Gregory Yates
