Chapter 8: New Relationship

Jackson's POV

Se-Hwa looked up at me with the most cutest look ever and the words that came out of her mouth caught me by surprise.

Se-Hwa: Hey Jackson, do you want to go out with me?

Me: Wait, w-what?!

Se-Hwa: Sorry, I know this is sudden but it's too hard to explain my feelings right now, just say yes or no.

Me: Yes? I guess?

Jeez, I didn't know that I would get her heart this easily. I mean, though, I am the most hottest person on this earth. You know, it's hard to resist this pretty face that I have. Well, this worked out just great. A win-win situation for us. Except for Vernon... I'll have to make it up to him for stealing his girl.

Se-Hwa's POV

I guess? Is that really an answer? *sigh* Jackson can be so difficult sometimes. I'll give this relationship a try, although I think that Jackson is the type to fling around and try different girls... Let's just make this a relationship to make Vernon jealous.

Me: Now what?

Jackson: Now what?

Me: I don't know, you tell me.

Jackson: Well, I think it's time to go home, isn't it?

Me: Right, yeah, I'll take a cab home.

Jackson: No, it's fine, I have a car.

Me: No, I'll just take a cab.

We went back and forth like that until Jackson forced me into his car. I lost :( But his car wasn't all that bad. It didn't smell gross, and it was pretty clean (compared to Jackson) *hehe*.

Jackson's POV

Why did she say "now what" earlier? Did she want to hang out with me even more? I just decided for us to go home because I was pretty tired and I didn't want to make anything awkward. Besides, I have a lot of thinking to do.

I dropped her off at her house and I speeded over to my house.

I walked in and flicked on the switches. My parents are never home,  but then again, I don't need them to survive. I've got a career in the music industry. I walk upstairs and open the door to my studio. I look around to make sure that nothing got stolen and opened the door to my bedroom, which was connected to the studio. I flopped down on my bed and laid my head back. I stared up at the glow-in-the-dark stickers of stars and planets that were still stuck to the ceiling. I remember putting those stickers up there with my parents when I was young. That was a good time before my parents got too busy.

You may be thinking why I checked in my studio earlier since I have a very good lock system. And you may be thinking why I hate Vernon so much. Well, a few years ago, Vernon was trying out for K-POP Star 5 and he was in Korea to take the preliminary rounds. A few days before that, he snuck into my house and stole my work that I had made. I don't know how he did it, but I found his fingerprint, so I gave it over to the police. JYP also knew that I had been working on that piece, so when Vernon was singing it for the preliminary rounds, he got disqualified. Of course, I stopped working on that piece because I didn't have it with me and if I did remember the whole song and publish it, people would say that I copied Vernon. In addition, Vernon did actually cheat on Se-Hwa. Before the Somi incident, he was hanging around backstage with another girl (Doyeon) and touching her. Blech, I felt like throwing up.

That's exactly why I'm better for Se-Hwa than Vernon will ever be. :)

Anyways, I have other thinking to do because on the ride home, Se-Hwa said that we should go on a date tomorrow. I'll have to think about where to go...
