Chapter 5

Third point of view

Thalia run to the kitchen as fast as her little legs can, earlier she was just looking out her window thinking about her parents or are they still alive when she saw a herd of those things approaching the house, she gasped and ran to the kitchen we're Vicky is cooking there breakfast, "Vicky!! " the little girl screamed forgetting about the herd outside, the herd was just gonna pass but when they heard the shout of the little girl they made there way to the source of the noise, The House.

Kesha's POV

We we're waiting for Victoria what happened to her I'm sure she's not that stupid and reckless right, okay now I'm talking to my self maybe I'm just worried or I'm just simply crazy.

"Kesha are you a still in lala land like what Vicky usually says" Tasha said raising one of her eyebrows.

"Nah I'm just worried something bad might've happened to Vicky" I said pacing back and fort

"Or maybe she tripped and saw a frog then jumped up and screamed like a bloody banshee while cussing then climbed a tree like she usually do every time we hang out then after ten second she will slip and fall" freyea grumled while rubbing her forehead and heading towards the fridge and getting a bottle of water,

"Yeah maybe that happened to her but what if the geeks got her" grace said turning sickly pale.

"Nah no one can kill Vicky but her own clumsiness"Tasha said laughing a little.

Giggles we're heard cause all of them knew that Vicky's clumsiness can be her downfall but they can't help but miss her dorkiness and her corny jokes.

Vicky's POV

Thalia told me about the herd outside that's gonna pass by so if there was a herd that's gonna pass then that means they heard Thalia scream and noise can attract those geeks then.....

*bang* *bang*

Guess it's too late to do some calculating when you already know the result.

"Thalia, knock knock" I said nervously.

"Who's there" she said sounding nervous too.

" ice cream geeks"

"Ice cream geeks who"

" ice cream geeks you scream geeks"

" geeks!!!!! " we both screamed when we realize we sound like pigs and it will attract more geeks we slapped our hand on our mouth then hurriedly pack as many but useful as we can.

Then we ran out of the house as fast as we can I turned back to see some of the geeks following us.

"Run as fast as you can Thalia" I told her.

She nodded and ran as fast as her little legs can.

A few minutes later.......

We've been running for many minutes when I looked back there are no geeks following us anymore.

I guess we outran them

"Thalia we can slow down now they're not following us anymore" I whispered not wanting to attract the geeks nearby or worst a living person with bad intentions.

Me Thalia found a small clearing and put up our tent, after putting up the tent I got some branches nearby and sharpened the end and stick it to the ground around the tent.

(Like what Morgan did in the walking dead season 6)

After putting up the spikes around the tent I checked our supplies if we have enough to last us through the night.

All we have is

• 4 bottles of water
• 3 granola bars
• and a first aid kit

Gosh looks like I have to go on a run soon.

I walk into the tent to see Thalia sitting down and hugging her knees and sobs were racking her body.

"Thalia what's wrong" I said concern.

" I'm scared, what will happen if the herd will get too us, I do t wanna die" she said crying.

The poor little thing.

" And I don't have any family left nor a sibling" she said holding her face crying.

"Hey shy don't you worry I'm here if you like I'll be your mother figure okay" I said wiping her tears away.

She smiled at me and hugged me tightly that it feels like she don't want to let go.

"Now I'm just gonna check some of the traps and see what we have for dinner" I said smiling at her.

"No! Please don't leave me, what if something bad will happen to you" she said sounding alarmed.

"Okay fine I'm not going on a run today but I will tomorrow and you have a choose whether your going to stay here or come with me"I said smiling reassuringly .

"I'm gonna come with you I don't wanna be alone again what if the bad people will capture me" Thalia said sounding panicked.

"Don't worry nothing bad will happen to you and your coming with me okay, I'll keep you safe" I smiled running my fingers through her hair.

She yawned and snuggled to my side. "I'm tired mommy" Thalia mumbled hugging me tightly.

Poor kid losing her parents at such a young age.

I stroked her hair smiling a little, gosh I remeber stroking Jake's hair when he was still a little boy, but then he will never grow up now cause but it's better he doesn't have to live in this awful place we call our home, oh how I wish for everything to go back the way it was, but then it's the luxury no one cab afford even the richest man on earth but I'm sure he's now dead or is going to be.

I was snapped out of the thought when I heard the cans that are tied around the area rattled, I looked down at Thalia seeing her sleeping peacefully, but k have to check what or who made that noise.

I walked out of the tent holding my pistol up, and started looking around cautiously trying to find the source that hit my trap.

I stepped through the spikes and the cans looking for the thing that made the noise but after a few minutes I didn't find anything or anyone that could've hit the trap, I shook my hraxand walked back to the camp.

I zipped open the flap to the tent to see Thalia looking scared, when she saw me, she hurriedly stand up and hugged the living daylights out of me.

" Vicky there you a real I've been looking for you, I was so worried that maybe something bad happened to you. " she said looking up at me almost crying.

"Hey nothing bad happened to me okay something just hit he cans so I went out to check it" I said assuringly.

She sighed and nodded and layed back down,"remember I will always be right here, okay and I won't let anything bad happento you" I said laying down beside her.

She smiled at me and got back to sleep.

I smiled at the little girl and layed down beside her.

Dreaming that everything will go back the way it was and my patents and brother are alive and also is thalia's parents but then if her parents didn't die than I wouldn't meet her, but I'll try and be her mother figure and protect her as long as I can.
