Yay! Passed 100 reads, thanks everyone! :) I'd like to dedicate this chapter to @Cryptic_Eyes because they're an amazing NaLu writer and I'm a big fan of their work :) If you haven't read some of their stuff yet, I'd suggest you read "The Legend of the Fallen" first, it was the first one I read and, I kind of got hooked. So, enjoy! :)

P.O.V. Levy

"I must've said it when you were, uh, zoned out." I told Gajeel before I lost my courage. After I said that, I started to run to Fairy Hills to gather up what I might need for this particular job.

What just happened? I thought.

Did Gajeel just ask me to go on a job with him? More importantly, why did I say yes? For some reason, I also point out to him how he zoned out for a minute. I don't know why I did that, that isn't really like me at all. I also don't know why he even zoned out in the first place. I've never seen him space out from something before. It was probably nothing though.

I threw the doors open and started to run down the hall towards my room. It was one of the last ones in the hall.

"Why you in a hurry, Levy?" I heard someone ask before I ran by them.

"Evergreen?" I asked her. She was in her usually green dress, tights and she had her fan out fanning the air around her. I wish I had a fan, it's been so hot in here these past few weeks.

"I was just going to get some stuff together for a job." I told her.

"Oh okay. Well I hope you and Gajeel have fun together." She smirked and walked back into her room, shutting the door.

"Hey! Evergreen! What do you mean by, 'have fun'?" I yelled to her while banging on her door. She didn't answer but I swear I could hear a little laugh from inside her room.

I sighed. This was going nowhere. I didn't want to waste anymore time then I already had so I started walking to my room.

Now that I think about it, I never told Evergreen that I was going with Gajeel. I don't think I even told her I was going with anyone. She must've seen us talking from her window or something. We were just standing in front of Fairy Hills.

I reached my room at the end of the hall and unlocked my door. I raced in trying to find what I might need. I grabbed my favourite bag and started packing. I threw an extra change of clothes, a pair of shorts and an orange t-shirt just incase something happened to the clothes I was wearing.

Two books, that could help with decoding ancient runes or traps and an extra book for light reading when I was bored.

I put in a little blanket to, just incase we needed to stop somewhere for the night. I always needed at least one blanket when I go to sleep, no matter the weather.

Last but not least, I slipped in a little plastic bag of kiwis for Lily. It is his favourite after all.

I zipped up my bag and slung it over one of my shoulders. It was a bit heavy but I didn't want to take anything out so I just ran back outside to meet up with Gajeel and Lily.

I ran outside to see Gajeel waiting for me. "Ready!" I yelled at him. He looked over at me, and he looked a bit angry. Is it because I wasn't fast enough?

"Sorry I took so long, Evergreen started talking to me in the hall and-"

"Jeez you weren't that slow." He said with his arms crossed.
