My mom always told me I need to make more friends. I always say I don't need more friends. She still thinks I should make more friends "Selena, having two friends gets boring. Wouldn't you like some new people in your life." I sit on the counter waiting for her to finish her lecture. "Mom, you say the same thing to me everyday. At the end I'm still going to have just two friends. I hate everyone at my school. " I get up and head for the door. "Selena, could you at least try." "I guess it wouldn't hurt to."
I walk out the house, I see Stephanie's car. She gets out the car. "Hey, Selena. Guess what I got." "Um, a cat. OH, A FISH. PLEASE LET IT BE A FISH." She starts to laugh. "No, it's not a fish. I got some money and we're going to the mall and going to buy everything." "Okay, when are we going. We have to tell Kristine she might be busy that day. Then again she's always busy." I get out my phone and call Kristine. "What." We gave each other a look. "What's wrong with you?" Stephanie asks "Nothing, just tell me what do you want." I have a feeling Kristine is tired of being friends with us. "Oh okay. Uh well Stephanie and I were wondering if you wanted to hang out." "No. I'm busy." "Oh uh okay can--" she hung up on us. "What the is up with her?" "I don't know maybe she's on her period." We went to Stephanie's car and started to go to the mall.
Me: Hey, Kristine what's wrong? BEST FRIEND: Nothing!! Why do you keep asking me that? Me:I only asked you once. BEST FRIEND: so, you keep asking me that and I'm getting tired of you and Stephanie asking me what's wrong with me. Me: WTFFFF. You need to just take a chill pill. Me: you've just been so distant lately BEST FRIEND: How would you know if I've been distant lately. All you do is hang out with her. Me: yeah, I only hang out with her because she's the only one that will. BEST FRIEND: I would hang out with you but I don't like Stephanie Me: whyyyy.
