Dorothea's head was still reeling from yesterday. She couldn't believe she had made...dare she say it...a friend. He was the sweetest, kindest ball of sunshine she had ever come across.

Louis literally was a ball of energy! After they had ordered pizza, they took it to the soccer field and ate it while they chatted about soccer. Dorothea had jokingly said she had birds eye vision and could hit a nail off of a pole with a soccer ball.

Louis took that literally and challenged her with a bet. If she did it, Louis said he would give her a surprise but just not yet. He had set his can of Monster on one of those wooden poles in the walkway of the field.

Luckily, Dorothea succeeded. Louis said he would give her her surprise in "due time" because it wasn't appropriate to do it yet.

Dorothea wasn't sure what that meant. As open and fun as Louis was that day, he was also a little cryptic and flirtatious if she was being honest. But she just wasn't sure, the only boys she had hung out with were her cousins.

Plus why would QCA's hottest guy be flirting with her. But there had to be some reason he was being so nice? Was he in some type of bet with his friends? Dorothea had seen that movie She's All That. She was no Laney Boggs and she was not getting played like that...ever!

The smirking, the hints...it was all too much for Dorothea to process. She didn't trust him. Jocks were supposed to be jerks.

God, Dorothea thought. I am starting to become like Othello.

She opened her phone and scrolled the 3 pictures and one video they had taken that day. She clicked on the video of Louis juggling with the soccer ball.

She sighed. Why was he so cute? Why was Dorothea daydreaming about what it would be like to date him? Why did she think an actual relationship with him was within reach? Guys like him were out of reach for guys like her.

She threw her phone onto her bed and laid back. Just as she was about to drift off to sleep, she heard her phone ding.

Louis' POV

Louis: We should hang out more. You're fun :)

Louis' heart beat a thousand times faster as he pressed send. He had been typing that simple message for nearly 30 minutes. It was Sunday and he had been sitting in Andy's living room, relaxing on of the sofa chairs as his friends battled in FIFA.

He nearly cheered when he saw that Dorothea was responding right away.

Dorothea: You're easily amused lol

Louis smiled at her response.

Louis: Maybe..maybe not.

Louis: I got the tix to the Othello show. So we're going Saturday

Dorothea: Eager are we? I thought I was going to text you

Louis: You were taking forever. If you haven't noticed, I like to get things done

Dorothea: Oh I've noticed! lol

Louis: Have you now?! Lol

Louis: What else have you noticed about me?

Dorothea:  IDK

Louis: Physically? Personality? etc etc

Dorothea: Well you're pretty fit bc your a soccer player

Louis: American fit or British fit?

Dorothea: What?

Louis: In England we say fit when when we think someone is attractive

Dorothea: Um...both then

Louis: :D

Louis: I knew it

Louis: You're fit too babe

Louis: Like really fit

Louis: In the British way

Dorothea: OMG I can't believe I said that

Dorothea: I'm not fit

Louis: Yeah you are

Dorothea: LOL okay whatever you say

Dorothea: You are really energetic. Either that was because of the energy drink or cuz you have ADHD LOL

Louis: Could be a possibility...

Louis: What else love

Dorothea: You're kind of random, but in a funny way

Louis: Aw see your onto the personality traits now :P

Louis: You like me :)

Dorothea: Hahaha I do actually

Dorothea: I didn't know that jocks could be this cool

Louis: Don't knock it till you try it

Louis' was going to type something else witty, but he received an incoming call. It was his dad, Mark.

Hello, Louis said into the receiver.

"You all finished at Andy's?"

"We're not doing much, whats up?"

"I invited this guy that has something to do with my company over and practice on the goal in the backyard. He's a major footy fan and has a son your age and wants to bring him. Can you come help me entertain? You know I'll make it right...."

Louis rolled his eyes. His dad was always putting him in these weird situations.  Whether it was some client, girlfriend, whatever, he was always asking Louis to be some type of sponsor. Like damn, Louis had felt like one of those carnival monkeys  entertaining everyone ever since his dad became an exec at Adidas.

"Yeah alright. What time?"

"Can you be here in 10 minutes?"

"For fuck's sake dad! Ten minutes?!"

"He kind of wanted to come over like 20 minutes ago. Sorry son. I'll make it double right. We'll discuss compensation later...but get over here quick, yeah?"

Louis sighed and said, "Alright I'll be there in 10 minutes."

Louis hung up and went back to his messages.

Louis: Hey Thea got business. Will text later about play.

Dorothea: K...see you around

"Alright lads", Louis said standing up and shoving his phone into his jeans pocket. "I'm off."

Everyone mumbled good bye, while Andy said, "You've barely been here all weekend anyway. We aint gonna miss you Tommo."

Louis rolled his eyes and mumbled "Shut up Andy" before he made his way to the smokey gray Hummer parked in the driveway.
