I wish I could follow you on your journey to your crown and help you throughout each complication that will stand in your way  but my role in your life has ended here my child. You will face more and find out more about yourself than you have in your entire existence.

You will learn who you can and cannot trust and how to protect yourself and your kingdom.  Callidora i love you more than anything in this world. Please understand that everything your mother and i did was to keep you safe. Your mother and i did things for you and your brothers safety let alone our own. I will always love you my dearest Callidora. Remember Within darkness there is light and where in light there is darkness.

                               -Father

An single tear rolled down my cheek. I should be tired of crying but i was not. As a royal i was not allowed to express my emotions but now that i am here alone i could not help it. I laid across the bed and read the letter over and over. What did he mean when he said i would find fine out more about myself?

I sighed and curled up underneath the covers of my bed. My mind was exhausted but my mind was wide awake. I closed my eyes and for a moment I was at peace within my dreams.

                                                                         Luc's Pov

"My lord there has been whispers." Logan spoke.

I looked at Logan from the mirror.

"And what are those whispers and why do they concern me?" I questioned.

"It concerns Princess Callidora."

My entire body froze as her name rolled off Logan's tongue. Logan was a dear friend of mines and he knew how i felt about Cali. She meant everything to me. I turned away from the mirror and gave him my full attention as he sat down on my bed.

"What are the whispers?"

He smirked acknowledging that he has my attention.

"The castle was invaded. They found the bodies of many servants and the body of her father-" He started.

"Was her's found?" I interrupted.

"No she was not found. No one knows where she has gone some even say that she kilt-"

"She would not dear! She loved her father."

His mouth shut and i sighed.

"Her father must have sent her away. There's no way she would just leave him there alone to face whoever invaded the castle."

I knew Callidora better than that she would not do anything in that sort of manner. i started pacing back and forth thinking of all the places he could have sent her. Paris? France? No he would not send her that far away from her kingdom.

"I need to go talk to my father."

Without another word i burst from my room and walked to the far side of the castle where my father's study was.  I knocked on the door and waited for a response.

"Yes Luc you may come in." He spoke.

My feet moved on its own as i entered his room without a second thought.
