Fucking alarm.

My mind keeps bugging me to be up but my body is too tired. I cover my face with a pillow.

"Gemma?" I heard my mom call my name through the door.

"You need to be up so you can go to school early. It's your first day of senior high."

"Yes mom" I shout back. Shoot! I hurriedly ran to the shower and get dressed. I just wore a plain shirt and skinny jeans. I plan on getting a better look on my first day but the time I have is limited. I guess changing to a new me is not meant for a girl like me. I pull my hair into a bun and went down.

I was suprised to see Ashton sitting in the living room. He looked adorable. His eyes met mine and I flushed- he saw me staring at him.

"Don't stare. I might melt." He giggled popping his dimples out.

"I wasn‘t staring at you"

"So what do you call the thing you did earlier?" He flashed a grin. Oh no.

"Hi Ashton!" I heaved a sigh. Luckily my mom came in to the scene or I'll be busted by Ash.

"Maybe you two should eat breakfast first before you both go?" We both nodded in sync.

"You look great even without the make-up. Stay simple gem. I love it like that." He whispered in my ear which made me blush. He walked and passed by me going to the dining area.

I was left standing by the words he just said. I was blushing like a moron. No one ever has told me that. I admit many people tell me I look adorable when I dress up but telling me I look good being simple is different. He likes me being me.

I guess being simple is better than I thought.

"Are you going to eat, Gemma?" My mom butting in my thoughts.

"Yes mom. I'm coming"
