Author Note: Kushina has been in the village for 4 months.During this time its April so when April passes, it would have been 5 months that she stayed. This is a whole new year so the first people to get older would be Minato and Hiruzen. A little clarification in case you get confused.
{Time skip a Year}
It was now Spring and the students in the academy was getting ready for their written and practical exam so they can become Genins of Konoha.
Kushina and Naruto was walking towards the academy so Kushina could take the exam.
Kushina was nervous about taking the exam. She was worried that she would fail and that she would have to go back into the academy. She was already a Genin in Uzushio but because she came to a new country, she had to start all over again, which made it more nerve-racking.
"Don't worry, you'll do fine" Naruto said out of nowhere.
"How do you know that I'll do fine" Kushina questioned.
"You want to become a Kunoichi of Konoha, and you're a Uzumaki and Uzumaki's don't give up, that's how I know you'll be fine" Naruto said with a serious tone.
Those words strengthened Kushina, giving her confidence that she WILL pass the exam.
After 3 minutes Naruto and Kushina made it in front of the building were the exam would be held.

"Now go in there and make our family proud!" Naruto said enthusiastically.
"YOSH!" Kushina yelled walking into the building with confidence.
After 2 hours of waiting, the kids Naruto saw come out with Hitai-ates was Minato Namikaze, Mikoto and Fugaku Uchiha, Tsume Inuzuka, Hiashi and Hizashi Hyuga, Shikaku Nara, Choza Akimichi, Inoichi Yamanaka, Shibi Aburame, Mebuki, and Kizashi Haruno and a few others.
But no Kushina and Naruto was getting impatient.
After 5 minutes Kushina FINALLY comes out and proudly wearing a Hitai-ate on her forehead.
"NARUTO-NII I PASSED DATTEBANE!!" Kushina shamelessly yelled.
Naruto looks up to see Kushina, he goes wide-eyed then he runs to her, picks her up and spins her around.
