Beginning a New

The next few weeks were amazing. Me and Drake spent all the time in the world together, other than when he had work. But he always made sure to go out to the garden and come back with a new type of flower everyday. Until he had to start repeating because there weren't enough flowers. The nights were just as good as the days... although there was a lot less talking. The biggest scare was about 6 months after we got married... I had missed my time of the month. When I took the pregnancy test and it came back positive, I fell on the floor crying.

What if he didn't love me?
Would he leave me?
Can I even be a parent?
What is the kid doesn't love me?
Will Drake be upset?
Will he kill me?

All the thoughts racing through my made me start sobbing even more. I was huddled on the bathroom corner rocking back and forth and I couldn't breath.

"Ariana I was wondering..." Drake stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me on the floor. He instantly ran to my side pulling off the ground and holding me close to him. "It's okay. It's okay. Let it out. I'll be here for you." He didn't even ask what was wrong and just held me until I was all cried out. "So tell me dear, why are you so upset?"

"I... I uh..." I couldn't even think of the words to form a sentence. I was still too much in shock. So I held up the pregnancy test. I looked up to see Drake's anger on his face, but to my surprise there was none. He simply sat there and stared at the little white stick with and intense for a while. Until a huge grin broke out on his face. He gently picked my up by my arms and started to dance around with me.

"I'm gonna be a father! I'm gonna be a father!" He started to chant and dance around the bathroom moving my arms around with him.

"Wait wait wait... you're not mad?" I asked, shocked by his reaction.

"Mad? Why would I be mad?"

"I don't know... I thought that you didn't want kids... I thought you would be upset... I don't know..." I stuttered on my words.

"Ariana, I want have 5 more kids with you. I want a whole little shit load of them. I want you and a family." He said, pulling me in for a hug, kissing the top of my head.

"So you're not mad?" I asked, my voice muffled by my face being his in his shirt.

I felt his whole chest vibrate as he laughed. "Of course I'm not mad. I love you. I can't wait to have a family with you." He softly said and hugged me tighter.

"I love you to," snuggling closer to him.
