Cyd's POV Well today is the day Naldo comes home from the war and Crystal excited but Bryena and Brayden are confused but they will meet him sometime today ok so I decided to sleep in and as usual I woke up at 7:30 to get breakfast on the table and get the kids dressed but I slept in till 8:00 so Sabrina took Camila and Crystal to school on her way there and it was just me Bryena and Brayden so I woke up and got dressed into this 👇

And then after that I went downstairs and saw my two little young ones watching Arthur
(A/N:don't judge I grew up watching that shows)
And so I went over there
"Hey guys what you watching?" Cyd asked
"Tv momma." Brayden said
"I see what show?" Cyd asked
"Arthur." Bryena said
"That right so anyway guys get dressed we got to pick daddy up from the station." Cyd said
"Ok momma," Bryena said then her and Brayden walked upstairs so Cyd cleaned up the mess that they made until there was a knock on the door
"Hmm I wasn't expecting nobody." Cyd said but she shrugged and went to the door and opened it and there stood Naldo
"Hey honey I'm home." Naldo said holding his arms out for a hug and Cyd was crying tears
"Naldo!" Cyd said then she gave him a hug and Naldo spun her around and then Brayden and Bryena came down
"Mommy who that?" Brayden asked
"Kids this is daddy." Cyd said
"These are Brayden and Bryena?" Naldo asked
"Yep." Cyd said
"Hey guys you were just little the last time I saw you." Naldo said kneeling down
"Daddy." Bryena said then she gave him a hug
"Whoa you would think that three year olds would be nervous to see there dad but I guess this one isn't." Naldo asked
"Oh she ok around strangers." Cyd said
"Oh so where Crystal?" Naldo asked
"At school." Cyd said
"Oh when will she be home?" Naldo asked
"Hey why don't we go down there and you can surprise her." Cyd said
"Yea but will I be disturbing the class?" Naldo asked
"No I bet Mrs homier won't mind." Cyd said
"Ok let's go." Naldo said then they left
••• At west Portland elementary
"I'm telling you my dad coming home today." Crystal said
"Really then prove it." Jade said then Naldo sneaked up behind Crystal
"Who did that?" Crystal asked as she turned around and saw Naldo behind her holding his arms out "dad!" Crystal said then she gave him a big hug
"That doesn't prove anything." Jade said
"Jade why do you got to be mean to me?" Crystal asked
"Because I'm rich and you aren't." Jade said as she walked away and Crystal gave her the evil eye and then looked back at Naldo
"Daddy I thought you weren't supposed to be home till this afternoon." Crystal said
"I was but I wanted to surprise you and your mom." Naldo said then Mrs homier came over
"Hey may I help you?" Mrs homier asked
"Oh we just came to surprise Crystal." Cyd said
"Oh ok would you guys like to stay?" Mrs homier asked
"No thank you we will just let Crystal get back to work." Naldo said
"No I want you guys to stay." Crystal said
"Honey you got to stay in school." Naldo said
"Yea to get a good education." Cyd said
"Ok I guess I will just do it." Crystal said then she gave her siblings a hug and her mom and dad a hug and walked inside
••• After school After school passed and Cyd and Naldo were at home hanging out until Sabrina Camila and Crystal came in
"Daddy." Crystal said
"Hey honey." Naldo said as he picked Crystal up
"Hey Cyd is this the Naldo guy you were talking about?" Sabrina asked
"Yea he is." Cyd said
"Who this?" Naldo asked
"Oh this is Sabrina my cousin from New York." Cyd said
"Yea I lived with the Matthews but I heard that I had a cousin back in Portland I decided to get Mr and Mrs Matthews to drive here to Portland to meet her and now here I Am." Sabrina said
"Wow I didn't know you were a New York girl." Naldo said
"Yea." Sabrina said
"Anyway don't you girls mind watching the kids?" Naldo asked
"What for?" Camila asked
"I want to take Cyd somewhere special tonight." Naldo said and he held Cyd hand
"Ok we don't mind." Sabrina asked
"Ok great." Naldo asked
"First should we tell Shelby Daisy Barry and my parents and yours that your home." Cyd asked
"Ah that can wait." Naldo said
"Ok then bye kids behave and do what auntie Sabrina and auntie Camila say ok." Cyd said
"Ok mom." They all said then they left
