"It's coming!", A starry cinder cat with a twisted leg panicked. The rest of the starry cat's around Moon Pool began yowling in fear and rage, almost none of them knew what was going on. "Cinderpelt, please! Calm down! There are two cats we found",The firey tabby replied. "I'm sure they will make great leaders", The ruffled gray cat mewed raspily. "No! We will not let the Clans fall over something so stupid! StarClan has walked with the four Clans for as long as it has existed.",A large white tom with black paws answered angrily. "Blackstar, have you forgotten that StarClan once watched five Clans? Have you forgotten what Firestar and Sandstorm did, reincarnating SkyClan?", It was a blue-grey cat who spoke next. "Maybe so Bluestar, but we don't even know if SkyClan is still alive, or if they even survived after they left", Blackstar hissed. "I'm sorry, but it would be fantastic if we knew what was going on!", A warrior called. The medicine cats and leaders all looked to the cat with the twisted leg and the tortoiseshell she-cat beside her.

"Cats of StarClan, Cinderpelt and I have seen a terrible vision. A vicious storm, like no other, will drown out the forest. The Clans have nowhere to escape it. They can't go back through the mountains after the recent fight with the Tribe Of Rushing Water.",The tortoiseshell began. "Spottedleaf is right. And recently, Yellowfang and Firestar have gotten the vision. Bluestar had seen it just the other night.", Cinderpelt finished. The murmurs had turned to yowls of anger and grief. "StarClan please! We must not worry! Should any cats survive, they can rebuild the Clans with the help of two kittypets!", Firestar's daughter, Leafpool, called out. "But there are four Clans. Those kittypets will make up for two!", Another warrior cried. "There are no other cats that seem worthy. Perhaps a future Clan cat will begin another Clan", Leafpool sighed. "Hold on. You all know they're kittypets right?", Blackstar stated. Firestar leaped up, pelt bristling. "Say that again, fox dung", Firestar growled loudly. "Knock it off, both of you!", Leopardstar stood, snarling at the too. "For the Clans sake, quit fighting. Fighting will not help." "I will not let my Clan be led by a kittypet", Blackstar snapped back. Leopardstar didn't react in anyway. She simply replied with," Then hope your Clan drowns." Mistystar paced back and forth nervously. "If the Clans die out and the Kittypets don't build new clans, we'd all be forced to move into the Fog of Memory. We'd never see the lake again..", She said. More murmurs of disbelief and fear broke out.

"How are we even going to contact these kittypets?", Tallstar spoke. "We'll send signs to the warriors. But who could carry such a message?", Spottedleaf suggested. "Pridepaw and Dashpaw, of ThunderClan and RiverClan", Bluestar announced. Everyone agreed the apprentices were worthy. "And I entrust Jayfeather and Lionblaze to deliver the message to the apprentices?", Leopardstar mewed. A silver-starry tom with blind eyes and a golden-starry tom with amber eyes looked up in surprise from the mass of warriors gathered around the leaders and medicine cats. The leaders nodded warmly. "Only tell them of the two kittypets", Yellowfang warned. The medicine cats were to recieve the message of the storm. Just then a bright light struck all around. Bluestar looked to the sky. "Cats of StarClan, meeting dismissed", She yowled. The starry cats leaped from the moonpool and into the night sky that still remained behind the rising sun. All except Lionblaze and Jayfeather, who were to find the apprentices and decide what exactly to tell the apprentices. Together they set off, going seperate ways when they reached the bottom of the mountain, and they're journey began.
