Rune's POV

Diary Entry 17,

Today was a terrible day. There was a war. At 5:30 my family and I were woken by the sounds of mechanical firing. All I can remember is the feint words of my father telling my mother he will be gone and to leave far away from home. My father kissed my mother goodbye, and that was the last I have ever seen or heard of him. 

Diary Entry 23,

Something bad happened. Distant mechanical firing was heard again. Will our foes ever stop terrorizing our village, our home, our families? I hope everyone is alright. Raiyne left the village to fight them... hopefully he will be okay. 

Diary Entry 35, 

They have returned. Them... the Lynix. They returned for us. Now mother has left. She kissed me goodbye. Everyone is attempting to defend against the Lynix. Not many have survived. My best friend Vex is here to keep me company as we stay in our shelter. Although another friend, Thundrye, wanted to help in the battle against the Lynix as well. Knowing that he is going with mother, hopefully he will be okay. Mother is a specialized white mage after all. Hopefully I will see them again.. at some point.

Its my birthday. I'm turning 18 and everyone is trying their hardest to set up a party. There are ripped pages.

The Lynix found us again. We have moved around over 37 times. Does this technically make us nomads? That would be cool. 

Diary Entry 153,

I have gotten bad news. Thundrye and Mother have passed on the battle field. Im heartbroken. My mother and my great friend has perished. I will remember them, if its the last thing I do. They will not perish forgotten. Although, this time we decided to keep  moving instead of leaving more of our people to fight against the Lynix. 

Diary Entry 165,

Magic training was terrible. Although I did make improvements. I'm able to create fissures in the ground now! That's better than the rock I threw at the instructor by accident. She actually looked pleased with me. 

Diary Entry 203,

Vex is sick. Really sick. Im trying to care for him as much as I can. He is my best friend after all. His parents also tried fighting against the Lynix in the past. They didn't live. Im his only friend now. 

Diary Entry 204,

The Lynix found us again. This time, Vex and I are going to fight them. Even though it is complete suicide, i'm doing it for my village. Hopefully I will be alright.
