Ch. 7 A Dangerous Mission Journey to the Land of Waves

"Sasuke at point B."
"Sakura at point C."
" ......Naruto I'm at point A. Believe it"
"Guys Meiku already has the cat."
"WHAT!!!"
I walked over to them all. "It came at me when it saw me." They all had wide eyes and jaws that dropped to the ground. "What?" Naruto pointed at me. "You have tiger ears and tail." He exclaimed. "Oh." They disappeared. "Lost pet: Tora. Captured. Mission accomplished." Kakashi was doing his serious voice. We went to the hokage's office and gave the lady her cat. I could hear the cat when the lady squeezed it. 'Poor cat'. "Now then for squad Steven's next mission. We have several available tasks. Huh...among them babysitting the chef councilors three year old, helping his wife to do his shopping, digging potatoes." Before he could finish Naruto yelled. "NOOO!!!" He made an X with his arms. "I wanna go on a real mission. Something challenging and exciting. Not this little kid stuff. C'mon old man." 'he's right' I thought. Iruka then got up. "HOW DARE YOU. YOU'RE JUST A BRAND NEW GENIN WITH NO EXPERIENCE. LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. YOU HAVE TO DEVELOP YOU'RE SKILLS TO PROVE YOURSELF!" Then Naruto yelled. "Are you kidding or something" I zoned out then til an old guy came through a door. He looked wasted. "What the a bunch of little snot nosed kids." He took a sip of sake. "And you the little one with the idiotic look on your face. Am I supposed to believe that your a ninja." Naruto started laughing. "Who's the little one with the idiotic look on his face." We then lined up. It went Sasuke, then Sakura, then Naruto, then me. "Hey you can't talk about Meiku like that." The old man then looked at me. "Huh no not her. The one with yellow hair." Naruto took a second. "I'll demolish you." Kakashi held him back. The old man took another drink of sake.
"I am Tazuna, A master bodybuilder, and I must return to my country. I'm building a bridge there that will change our world, and I expect you to get me there safely. Even if it costs you your life." 'That's not suspicious at all'. Note the sarcasm. We met at the main gate and started our journey. "Yeah!" Naruto and I gave each other high fives.  "What are you two so excited about?" Pinkie asked. "It's our first time out of the village." Kakashi gave me a confused look. "Hey am I supposed to trust my life to that idiot!?" Tazuna said. Naruto got really pissed. I turned around. "Tazuna, sir, you shouldn't underestimate me and Naruto. Even if we fail then you have a jonin to save. And the risk of me failing are zero." I then smiled and turned around. 'She took the words right out of my mouth'. Kakashi thought. Naruto then turned around. "Never insult a ninja. I am one of the best there are. And someday I'll be Hokage! Believe it!" 'Good job Naruto. You show them.' I thought. Tazuna took another drink of sake. "Hokage, the powerful and wise. You, the puny and brainless. The day you become Hokage, i'll sprout wings and fly." I got mad. "Hey he is going to be a great Hokage. Better than the rest." He looked at me. "And who are you supposed to be his apprentice." Now I was really mad. "No I am going to be the best Ninja there is and I will be at his side when he becomes Hokage." I zoned out. I heard rustling of leaves and through the corner of my eye I see a figure. 'Huh better keep an eye out.' I thought. "Mr.Tazuna, your from the wave country right?" Pinkie asked. "Yeah what about it." "Kakashi sensei there are ninja in that country too right?" "No there are no ninja in the land of waves." Kaka said.  "But in other countries there at hidden villages. Each with their own different customs and cultures. Ninjas resign." I finished. Then zoned out. Then Kakashi out of nowhere said, "Hey you all just doubted the Hokage didn't you!?" Naruto and Sakura shook their heads. I climbed onto Kakashi's shoulders. He just raised an eyebrow. We were walking when I spotted a puddle. I climbed off Kakashi's shoulders. He nodded knowing that he saw it too. Ninja came out and attacked Kakashi. He disappeared but I knew he was fine. I quickly got behind them and knocked them out. I tied them to the tree. Kakashi came out. "Good job Meiku." Kakashi said. "Tazuna we need to talk." I was serious. "They were going after you why?" I left this to Kakashi. "Hey your not hurt are you, Scaredy Cat?" Sasuke said. I turned around. "Can it Duck butt." He looked surprised. I mean I would understand. I give some mean glares. I zoned out. I tend to do that a lot. Naruto stabbed his hand and after his speech, I quickly patched him up. I knew about the nine tails when we were littler but that didn't mean that he is Kurama. We started walking again.
