Adrian

6 months before

"Adrian its a raid. We should be leaving now. Sammy is clearing the place with others." Viktor said barging into my office at one of my Casino.

It was midnight and I was at my Casino for some business and some check on.

"What? How's that possible? It's not just a raid Viktor. I think its a setup."I said while getting up from my chair and taking my gun in my hand striding towards the door.

Anger started running into my veins with my blood boiling with rage. Only one man could dare to do that. One and only Gambino.

My grip tightened around the gun as I walked out of the office door with Viktor following me behind.
We took our secret path to outside of the Casino but as I was about to exit, I saw cops walking here and there like finding the secret exit.

Holyshit. They already knew about the secret exit.
That got my anger at edge. It only means one thing that any of my men is traitor. He's betraying me. Bloody bastard.

"Adrian, cops are outside. What should we do now?" Viktor asked in panic.

"I can see that Vik. Let me think for a second." I said in frustration.

"We will exit from the club. Our club is licensed they can't raid there. They're here for Casino. About which nobody knows excepts mafia people." I told him while walking back to my office.

My casino was in basement of my Club. But the problem here was to get out of casino because they were surely in casino by now.

As we reached casino, the cops were checking the place already. I and Viktor without being seen bent on our knees and crawled without any voice towards the door hiding behind the tables.

As it was my place, so I knew how to escape. But you can't predict when bad time comes, so you should be more cautious.

We escaped safely and entered the club. But cops were there too. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

Aaaah there we go again.
They were checking each and every person.

Then let them check. I smiled at my thought.
I was thinking ways to escape when a girl bumped into me.

She looked drunk. She was in grey laced dress fitting her curves ending at her mid thighs. She clenched my jacket with her hands tightly. I looked down at her when her eyes met mine.

Blue eyes like Ocean. Deep and dark. Her eyes never matched her state. Her eyes didn't matched eyes of a drunk person. She blinked her eyes slowly for once. Then second time. Then third time and then there was boom.

There was an explosion. I wasn't sure of what type but there was smoke everywhere. That was good time to escape. Before I could move someone grabbed my arm and pulled me and started running towards the exit.

I tried to pull away when I saw that woman again. She was taking me out of the club but why? As we exit the club, I pulled away from her.

"Let's go to my car. It's not safe yet." She said looking into my eyes. With dark Empty eyes. Fearless. Lifeless.
Like my eyes. How could a woman have empty eyes.

"Why are you saving me woman. I don't know you. Who are you? What do you want? I think you don't know who I am. If you are working for Gambino and trying to fool me then you are at big mistake." I whispered in her ear while holding her wrist and turning her arm at her back. Her back was facing me now.
