Chapter 6

Adrian

I'd been thinking of letting her go. But that was even difficult to think. My whole life had been a mess. From my birth to boss of Mafia, I only witnessed mafia life.

Every second of my life, every breath of my life lead towards death. I don't know when a bullet comes and pierece my heart and take life out of me.I didn't really cared about my life before.

But now, after seeing that beautiful grey eyes, long red hair, white shiny skin like an angel, my heart became to life. For once in my life, I had desire to live with her. To marry her. To have her beside me "my Queen". To have children.

But unfortunately, these were just imagination that could never come true in Adrian Derek Genovese's life.

My mother died when I was 5 and Damon was 2 years old. She was innocent but mafia took her life.

My father died and I became the Boss. I was born to become a Mafia leader. That was my fate. I couldn't able to do any thing about my fate.

But for Damon, I did everything to give him normal life. I gave him everything that a normal man wanted to have. He studied and had his studios. He liked singing. And I am glad he's  living normal life with normal people.

I don't want her life become like us. I don't want my children to do that business. That's why I don't want children. I don't want wife because I don't want her to be in danger because of me, because of Mafia.

I went out of my office to find her and tell her to go. I thought to check my bed room first. I was about to enter when I heard laughters from living area.

I went down stairs. When I hit the bottom, I saw Diana laughing and talking. Her eyes were sparkling with excitment.

Then I saw Damon sitting across her. Watching her with amusment and smiling. They both never noticed I was standing there and sending them glares.

My heart raced rapidly due to anger started boiling inside me. I curled my fingers beside me. Why in this world, I was feeling so angry?

I walked towards them with making noise with my footsteps. They turned around to see me as I reached near them.

"Hey Addy, I was introducing myself to Danny. I mean Diana. She is so nice. You know, she heard my album. She's a fan of me." Damon told me in one breath in excitment.

Danny? When did they got in close terms that they went to nick names.? I mean why this is bothering me? This girl is getting on my nerves. Control yourself Adrian.

"Sleeping beauty, did you got your breakfast? Are you feeling Better?" I asked Diana ignoring Damon.

"Umm...yes. I am better now. Can I go home now?" She said faking a smile. What's with her. Few seconds before she was laughing and talking with Damon like she was happiest girl. And now, when I am here, she feels uncomfortable. She can't even smile.

"Yes. You can go. I told Zack to drop you wherever you want. He will be waiting outside." I told her in rough and bored tone. That was really difficult for me.

"No, I will go by myself Mr.Genovese. you already did much. I don't need any help now. Thanks for taking care of me. And letting me one night at your house. Having breakfast. Thanks alot." She said faking a smile again. My anger was getting flames.

"Ok. Whatever." I said ignoring her and leaving the living room. I was annoyed. Why? Because of her attitude? Yes obiviously. Or may be because of letting her go. My heart felt numb.
