Chapter 10: Back

Angela Melanie's POV

NAGISING ako ng masakit ang ulo at walang maalala. I remained my eyes closed 'cause I can sense a great amount of light above me. Iminulat ko ang mata ko at nag-adjust sa liwanag sa paligid ko. I looked around and suddenly thought, I'm not in our room. Napalingon ako sa bedside table na puti at nagulat ako ng makakita ako ng kalendaryo at may markang red marker na nakabilog sa date na July the 14th.

Nanlalaking matang kinuha ko yung kalendaryo at tinignan ng mabuti. Fudge. May nangyari na naman ba? I hate this week. Ugh. Especially that I can't remember anything that happened yesterday or these past few days. I can only get my memories back at August the 14th. Tsk.

Napahiga na lang ulit ako at tumitig sa kisame. I think I'm in a clinic or something. *sigh* Kahapon na pala yung pinakamalalang araw. Especially when it's near my coming of age.

Napalingon ako ng bumukas ang pintuan ng clinic--kung clinic ba talaga toh--at nakita kong pumasok si Alexa kasunod ang iba pa. I was even shocked when I saw the other magixar heirs including Amylia with them. What are they doing here?

"Okay na ba ang pakiramdam mo, Gela?" Tanong ni Amylia pero binaliwala ko yon at bumaling kay Althea.

I looked at the other magixar heirs and asked, "What are they doing here?"

She sighed before answering my question, "we forgive them, Ge--" pinutol siya ni Alexa

"You, forgave them." Then she walked out. Okay? What was that?

"What happened?" Tanong ko ulit.
"They asked for forgiveness and we gladly appreciated it-- but, I think Alexandra isn't fine with it." Only us can hear that. The boys can't including Amylia. She used her powers, maybe.

I just sighed and closed my eyes before talking.

"How many hours did I slept?" I asked at them.
"18 hours. It's normal for us though. Especially for you, your coming of age is near." Said by Abbigail. Ang talino talaga eh. Daming alam. Tsk.
"What do you mean by coming of age?" Takang tanong ni Amylia.

So, hindi niya pa alam? The goddesses of lyrics told us that when our coming of age is near, signs are coming. Pero mukhang wala pang alam si Amylia don. I opened my eyes and looked at her.

"Have you seen your Lyric Goddess yet?" I asked seriously. Nangunot naman ang noo niya. Well, her reactions showed it.
"No. And may I ask what is that?" She asked, confusion is written all over her face.
"A Lyric Goddess is the first holder of our element. For example, I have Goddess Athena as my Goddess and we reprrsent the thunder and lightnings." I said.

Tumingin naman ako kila Abbi, Thea, at Thea para humingi ng back up.

"Angela's right. For me, I have Goddess Flora as my Goddess who first bear the magix or element of Nature or Earth." Abbigail explained.
"And I got Goddess Aquarius as my Goddess who first controlled the element of the water. My element." Althea explained.
"And I got Goddess Fyrie as my Goddess who actually first held the magix or element of Fire. Obviously, and that's my element." Amber said in a matter of fact tone.

Napatingin naman ako sa mga lalaki na parabang nagiintay pa ng idurugtong namin. I think they're waiting to know who is Alexandra's Goddess.

"Goddess Ize. First controlled, possess and held the magix element of Ice. She can handle any element because of Ice." Napatingin kami kay Alexa ng bigla na lang siyang sumulpot na nakaupo sa upuan sa tabi ko.

I guess she froze the air and make it as cold as Ice and used it for her to teleport inside.

"Goddess Ize? Is she--" Naputol ang dapat na sasabihin ni Ezachziel.
"Yes she is." Said by Alexa then bite at the apple in her hand.
"H-how did you know them?" Amylia asked frustratingly.

Alexa looked at her in fact, she glared at her.

"We somehow encountered Nanay Fiana at the portal's entrance and she held the key for you to see your goddess." Said by Althea bago pa man magsalita ng harsh na mga salita si Alexa.

Alexa just ignored her and bite at her apple-- an apple coated with ice-- how can she ate that thing? Won't she hurt herself?

"Nah. I'll be fine, girls. Remember, my magix is ice. I can control it and it can become edible just like the foods we ate. But, colder and delicious--for me. Try it, Zin." Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya.

What I mean is, sa tinawag niya kay Leo. Woah. Mukhang napatawad na niya si ugok ah.

"Whaaaaat?! Bakit ako?!" Gulat na sigaw ni Leo.

Alexa glared at her.

"What do you think?" She asked coldly while giving a sharp and deadly glare at Leo.

"Eh? Bakit nga ba? Eh ba't ba ako tinatanong mo? Ikaw kaya ang nakaisip non!" Leo

"Tsk. It's because you and me are both bearers of an ice magix, we're on top, that's why we can ate this kind of things." Alexa explained and showed her hand at us. "Abbi, make some blueberries and put it in my hand. Faster." She commanded.

Tumango naman si Abbigail at agad na pumunta sa isang paso na nasa may bintana. Naglagay siya ng lupa don at saka nagpatubo ng halaman. I think, a blueberry tree? Eh? Nang tumubo na yung halaman ay unti-unting may lumalabas na bunga don. So, blueberry tree nga? Kinuha niya yung plato sa lamesa sa gilid ng kinahihigaan kong kama at nilagyan ng mga bagong pitas na blueberries.

"Here."she said and gave Alexa the plate full of berries. Alexa accepted it and coated it with ice one by one, before giving it to Leo.

Aliyah Analine's POV

Nanginginig ang kamay na kumuha si Leo ng isang piraso ng frozen blueberry at saka kinain. Nanlaki naman yung mga mata niya at agad na napangiti habang nguya-nguya pa din yung blueberry sa bibig niya.

"Ang sharap!!" Sabi niya at sunod-sunod na dumampot ng blueberries at sunod-sunod na kinain ang mga yon. Napatingin naman ako kay Alexa ng may narinig akong bulong sa hangin. I heard her. I just smiled slightly. I know she can recover easily with the help of Leo now.

Napatawa naman kaming lahat ng mabilaukan si Leo sa kaka-kain ng mga frozen blueberries. Yan, yan kase!! Kain pa more!! Hahah!!

"Pffft!! Haha!! Ang epic ng mukha eh!! Hahah!!" Napatigil ako sa pagtawa ng mapansin kong nakikisabay din sa pagtawa sila Zach at Alexa.

It's just, I'm weirded by seeing them laughing--with people. It's the first time. Napansin din 'yon ng iba kayanapatigil din sila sa pagtawa at natulala sa kagandahan at kaguwapuhan nila Alexa at Zach.

"What?" Sabay na sabi ng dalawa na nagkatinginan pa ng mapansin nilang hindi na kami tumatawa.

Nagkatinginan kaming lahat dito sa loob ng clinic at parang iisa lang ang iniisip.

"They're back!!"

Napa-poker face na lang sila Alexa at Zach. Pero maya-maya pa ay napangisi ng magkatinginan silang dalawa. Uh-oh. I can't read their minds anymore right now!! It gave me shivers down my spine when they bot looked at pur direction wearing creepy and scary smirks.

"I don't like where this is going--wherever it is going." Sabi ni Xenon at agad kaming naalerto ng tumayo yung dalawa at nagpalabas ng snowball at fireball sa magkabilang kamay nila.

Uh-oh.

"RUUUUUUUUUNNNNN!!!!"
