Chapter 3:

"You said you'd go anywhere with me," I said.

"Well yeah, if you told me you wanted to go to a beach, I would have taken you to my private beach instead," Andrew said with horror, referring to the crowd of the beach.

"You don't have a choice anyway." I teased. A grin slowly spreads on my face.

A short sweet laugh riffles out from his mouth. "Not that I don't mind since I'm seeing you in a bikini, love."

"Ah! You're really a pervert."

"Come on. Show me this 'good time' you're saying." He started to walk. Though, in this noticeable hot weather, we were not alone. His body guards were swarming around in camouflage. It's not that I mind.

He drags me along; my bare feet sinking on the coarse sand as I took a step. His grip softens and he gradually slides his slender fingers to my palm then towards my fingers; barely touching and awkward. His fingertips were somewhat cool but him feeling against my skin were warm enough to make me feel calm.

I wasn't actually sure why I agreed to go out with him -not go out girlfriend-boyfriend thing; just literally go out. Our meeting was crazy as hell, but maybe his persistency pushed me. I only agreed to do this once; I only got persuaded and maybe I was a little bit curious.I won't even consider dating him; more or less, I shouldn't be thinking of dating or marrying him. I already told to myself no more broken hearts and complicated life.

"Sir," A bulky guy approached Andrew. "It's better if we won't stay here long. Information's 'Marc' has been making his move. It will be dangerous if we would encounter this assassin."

"Then double the security, Adam." Andrew explained; his hands left mine. He was pouting with his brows furrowed like maybe he was worried or annoyed.

"Is everything okay?" I asked.

He was being casual about it when he told me, "Don't worry, love." But I could sense he was totally not okay being here with me on the open where he could be shot dead.

"I have to buy snow cones..." I mumbled. There was a lump on my throat. This wasn't a good idea after all. I don't want to get caught up in this; with his loaded family, if it turns out he was assassinated, they would all blame me. No. They would all kill me. I can feel my inner subconscious turning pale; the more I think about it... I don't want to think about it.

"Well, just be extra careful -and bring Adam with you."

His bodyguard fidgeted. "But, sir," he knows he can't leave his 'boss' alone.

"Bring my girl, alive, and in one piece, got it, Adam?" Andrew broke a killer smile. "I expect a lot from you,"

I rolled my eyes and started to walk away. It would be necessary if I was an ordinary girl, or he doesn't remember?

I walked up to the wooden cabanas; where the stores are located. A kid around five years old looked at me with cute teary eyes. I went near him and asked, "What's wrong, kid?"

He wiped both of his eyes and pointed at the balloon stuck up on the ceiling that is two meters above me.

"Well, sure." I let out my breath, jumping as high as I can. My fingers caught the string of the balloon, wrapping around my hand then landed with my other hand holding the pavement for support.

"Here, you go." I smiled at the little kid and gave him the balloon. Then he looks at me with amazement but he was smiling. He mumbled 'thank-you' then waved goodbye.
