Lucy's POV

I close the door as I walk out, with a cheeky grin on my face. I knew I could do that. Thought Leo is sometimes hard to fool. I walk down the stairs.

I never hated the stairs more than today. It sucks to live on the fourth floor apartment with no lifts. And trust me, you don't want to walk in high heels here.

I somehow manage to get to the ground floor. When I get there and see the person standing in front of me I know that it was all worth it.

I don't like lying to my only brother but  I could do anything for the one standing in front of me.

I looked at the boy a few years older than me. His dark brown hair slicked back. Dressed in a cream-coloured T-shirt and deep brown trousers.

"Like what you see?" My eyes snap back to his handsome face. Oh my gosh! He smirks, my goodness he looks like really hot right now. I am probably drooling over this guy.

Get a grip girl! I mentally scold myself. Lifting my chin with a sweet smile I move forward to hold his outstretched hand.

Leo's POV

" Relax bro, nothing will happen to Lucy. I am on my way to this club, but boy that place is a devil's den. " This was the hundredth time Jack was trying to convince me.

As soon as I received the letter I had dialed the only person I could seek help from, my best friend. He said it would be better if he went straight to the club as he was closer to the area. Me being me I had to take my car and drive like a bat out of hell. I had to get there before my little sister gets herself in serious trouble.

After I covered an hour long distance in almost half the time. I jump out of my car only to see the place in hysteria. The thing about this club was it was located at the oddest place in the city, with little to no residents around.

"Leo there is something seriously wrong," my friend was not one to sound so scarred and the fear in his voice was enough to send a shiver down my spine.

"I was here when it happened, I don't know how to explain it but there was this man.. he..he just turned Johnson into ..mist like he was never there...li-"

"Where is Lucy?"

Silence.

"WHERE THE HECK IS MY SISTER JACKSON?!"

"He- he took her.. one min-" I punch him hard in the face before he could finish.

"YOU SAID NOTHING WILL HAPPEN, NOW WHAT!!?" I felt the earth tremble and the sky darken. Maybe it was my imagination.

Calm down. She's fine. Calm down. Came the voice. The anger subsiding as though it was a spell cast on me. She is fine. It repeated, but was she really?

"Stop," I said, my knuckles where white from holding the stearin too tight.

"What?"

"Stop staring at me like that!"

"Like what?"

"Like you're waiting for me to turn into a hulk or something."

"Ahh, just in case..." Jack trailed off.

"I am worried not angry. There's a difference."

" But you look like you could kill. Like those bad guys in the movies?"

"Ja- F***!!"  My car came into a screeching halt at the scene in front.

"Wow!" Jack exclaimed.

Elizabeth stood a few feets away looking breathtaking as always. Her hair glowed in the darkness, lilac flickering back to their normal silky black as her figure solidified under the dim streetlights.

"Dude! She's the creepy witch."

"Enchantress." Shifting my gaze, he looked pale more than me. Our heartbeats could be heard in the silence of the car or perhaps it was just me who heard it. Releasing a shaky breath, got out of the car and paced dreadfully towards her. She was as dangerous as fire, I knew I should have run away, far away. But I was a moth, her moth. I wasn't afraid of her I was enthralled by her.

"Leonardo," her voice a soothing whisper. It felt like I haven't heard her for years, yet was mere days. I looked into the deep stromy orbs. Concern etched into them.

"It's Diana, she's gone." She answered my unuttered question. If not for her eyes I would have thought she didn't care. Her voice as calm as her expression, as if she was talking about the weather. First my sister now her. What was going on? It was too much, too many emotions at once making me feel like I was drowning.

"What!?" It was Jack who broke the silence. "You were supposed to look after her!" He was angry and anger he expressed. Me? I was agitated, irked and seething. The air around was turning hostile each passing second. I had to find them. Diana where are you? I thought.

She was right there in-front of me, looking delicately beautiful. Wrapped in a navy blue dress that hugged her every curve. Her hair fell in wavy chocolate curls covering her exposed shoulders. She was talking to someone I could not see. There was loud music playing in the background as she was surrounded by multiple people dressed similar to her. A party.

"What party?" Blinking I realise I was still on the road. What was that?

"Leo?" Jack said his hand on my shoulder. Go.

"We'll go to the birthday party. Come on, get in the car." I said, sighing.

"What?! Bu-" I didn't stay to listen because I had no answer for the questions he was about to throw at me.

I might be losing my mind or maybe she was right. I had to find out and this was the only way to. One glance at Elizabeth after we were seated in the car and I knew that she was well aware of what had happened. Was she playing tricks with my mind? My musing was cut short as I heard something that turned my blood cold.

Find her before he takes her.
