Danny slowly approached the house. Checking the flyer, he determined that he was at the right place. He already called the number on the flyer and agreed to meet with the occupants. Danny sighed and raised his hand to knock on the door. He jumped when he heard a voice.

"Hey, you down there!" The voice said. Danny looked and saw a blonde-haired guy looking down at him from the roof.
"Hi?" Danny said nervously.
"You're Danny Rosario?" The man said.
"It's actually Danny Ramirez."
"Oh, sorry. I knew it started with an R."
The man jumped down from the roof and walked over to where Danny was standing. He held out his hand.
"I'm Alex." Danny shook Alex's hand. "You called about the room?"
"Uh yeah. I wanted to check it out before I made my decision."

Alex walked over to the door. "Well, I'd be happy to show you around. If you want me to."
"Yeah." Danny replied. They both walked towards the door and Alex turned the doorknob, only to find the door locked. He fumbled with his pockets before groaning in frustration. "I left my key in the house." Alex knocked on the door. A voice answered.

"Who is it?" The voice said.
"Matt, it's Alex. Let me in!" Alex demanded. A few moments passed before the door swung open. On the other side of the door stood a rather tall man with short, curly red hair. His face had a light dust of freckles.
"Hey, Alex. Who's this?"

Alex pointed to Danny. "This is Danny. He's here to see about living here. I was gonna show him around."
"Okay." Matt walked away while Alex and Danny walked inside. Immediately, Alex noticed two other guys sitting in the living room. They seemed to be debating something. Alex walked closer to hear.

"Okay, but riddle me this. If Biff had never gotten the almanac, he couldn't have become corrupt and powerful." A boy with short, wavy brown hair said.
"Maybe, but he still could have found a way to alter Marty's future by ruining George McFly's chances of falling in love with Lorraine." A pale boy with short, black hair said. Danny had gotten so interested in their conversation that he didn't notice he had strayed behind until Alex called his name.

"Danny, come on." Alex motioned for Danny to follow him into another room. The other room happened to be the kitchen. Nothing much to say about the kitchen, other than it was messy.

"Alright, I guess I'll show you upstairs." Alex walked away and started to walk upstairs. They were interupted by a door slamming.

"I'm back!" Someone yelled. Danny turned towards the front door to see a tall guy with short blonde hair who sort of looked like Alex. Alex shouted back.

"Hey, Cody! How was your date?"
"Terrible." Cody mumbled before walking out of sight. Alex and Danny continued up the stairs. Alex walked up to a door at the end of the upstairs hall. He turned the knob and opened the door and walked in. Danny followed.

The room had two beds lined up on either side of a window centered on the back wall. One bed looked like it belonged to someone, as it had bedsheets and a blanket and pillow on it. The other bed was bare, with only a mattress and pillow on it. Looked like Danny had a roommate. Who though?

"You can just leave your bags by your bed for now." Alex pointed at an area at the end of the bed. "I'll give you a few minutes to get settled in and then we can introduce ourselves." Alex left the room.

After Alex left, Danny sat down on the bare bed. He sat there for a few minutes, thinking about the people he'd just seen. They seemed okay, but they were a little unusual. At least the ones he'd already met. Shaking the thoughts out of his head, he opened his bedroom door and made his way downstairs.
