It was the first day of school at Lexville High and everyone was crowding the hallway, checking the list of students posted on the doors. Some students were happy that they would be in the same section as their crush's, some are sad because they will be apart from their best friends. But there's this one girl who is silently annoyed at the ruckus everyone was making on the first day of school, a girl named Aleisha.

Aleisha Clifford is a sophomore at Lexville High. She is an average student, a bit bigger for girls her age, sporting her long, shiny hair with her chestnut brown eyes paired with a monolid, fluffy cheeks with a hint of pimple scars brought by puberty, small mouth that perfectly matched her eyes and a nose that's looks average.

She tried to fight the ordeal of passing through a chaotic crowd but she eventually gave up. She was starting to get more annoyed and her morning started good enough to be ruined so she just walked away and leaned on the railings.

As Aleisha was getting drowned in the beauty that nature was flaunting in front of her, a warm voice ruined her moment.

"Um, Hi. Excuse me, miss. Are you an old student?", a handsome, young man asked.

Aleisha tried her best not to drool in front of this unbelievably good-looking man. And although she was mesmerized by his looks, she tried to remind herself that good-looking men are heart breakers and would never ever like a girl like her.

"Im Aleisha and yes, I'm an old student here. Why?", she answered with curiousity.

"Oh, okay. You see, I'm a transferee and I'm not yet familiar with this school. I just wanted to ask where the comfort room is? I tried asking other people but they were too busy to even pay attention to me."

"Hmm. Turn left at the end of this hallway and just follow the signs leading to the comfort room.", she replied, doing hand gestures to make her directions clearer.

"Thanks. Gotta go now. See you next time.", Ash replied before heading off.

Aleisha just nodded and smiled while watching the boy run way. "Woah, that was a weird first encounter", she thought to herself. She noticed that the crowd was slowly subsiding so she went to check the students list to know what section she'll be in.

She found her name in Section B's list. She checked the names of her classmates-to-be and sighed.

"New school year, similar faces. Great.", she whispered to herself while scanning the list. She was beyond disappointed because she thought she'd meet a new friend this school year. It's been a year since she transferred to this school but she never gained a friend, not even one. Maybe because of her appearance? She doesn't know. She heaved out another sigh before entering the classroom.

The room was a perfect picture of the usual scenario of the first day of class. Students huddled in groups, busily chatting with their circle of friends. Well, Aleisha doesn't have a friend so she decided to take the most isolated seat in the room: the seat beside the wall at the back row.

She was so engrossed in reading her English textbook that she wasn't able to notice the teacher who just entered the room and her classmates standing silently. Yeah she heard, they will be under the advisory of the most terror teacher in this school. "How worse could this school year ever be?", Aleisha thought before she stood up to avoid catching the teacher's attention.

"Good morning class. Please take your seats. My name is Ms. Malou Irwin. Just call me Ms. Lou. I will be your teacher in Mathematics, Trigonometry, Economics and Values Education. You will be under my advisory for the whole school year so let me intr—".

Ms. Lou wasn't able to finish what she's saying because someone knocked on the door. Ms. Lou opened it and a smiling face of a boy welcomed her. The girls in the class, except for Aleisha, gasped in unison. The boy was wearing his uniform neatly complete with his i.d while sporting a rugged, just-got-out-of-bed hair that surprisingly matches his brown, chinky eyes and impressively reddish, kissable lips. A noisy chattering slowly arose which did not please the teacher standing in the doorway.

"Quiet!", Ms. Lou screamed before she turned to the boy in front of her. "Yes, what do you want?", she asked with her eyebrows raised and hands on her hips.

The boy's cheerful smile immediately turned to a nervous one as he answered, "Good morning ma'am. I'm Ashton Hood. I belong to this class, sorry for being late. I had a comfort room emergency."

The class burst into laughter but Ms. Lou's infamous "QUIET!" scream and sharp look combo instantly shut them up.

"Well, Mr. Hood. Let me remind you that tardiness is never tolerated in my class so I'm hoping that this will be your last. Am I understood? Now get inside and sit beside Ms. Clifford, the girl with glasses, at the back.", she ended her speech with a smile that never fails to make a student shiver with fear before closinh the door as soon as he was seated.

            "So as I was saying..."
