Classes were already dismissed, but it was Aleisha's hobby to stay late at school because sunset looks good when viewed from the fifth floor of the building. It would be better if Ash stayed a little longer after dismissal, but he said he really need to go home for an emergency.
People in the classroom eventually left and Aleisha found herself alone in an untidy room. The cleaners did do the sweeping and the wiping and the arranging of chairs but people disarranged them anyway. She checked outside and by the looks of it, the sun will set in a few minutes so she decided to arrange the chairs and listen to some music to ease the boredom. She started singing along to Plain White T's "Hey There Delilah" while arranging the chairs. She felt as if she was in a concert, singing a duet with the band's vocalist.
After the song ended, she was shocked to hear a slow clap behind her. When she turned around, she saw Ash wearing a big smile on his face.
"Wow. I didn't know a pretty girl like you has a hidden talent.", He said as he approached her.
Aleisha turned her back and continued arranging the chairs to cover up her embarrassment.
"W-why are you still here? I thought you have an emergency at home?"
"Yeah, it's already settled and I left my book here. See?", He answered, waving the book in front of her face.
"Okay.", She answered and continued arranging the chairs while Ash looked outside the windows.
"Hey. Sun's about to set. It would be a waste to miss it. Let's go.", He said as he grabbed her bag and her hand and they make their way to the fifth floor.
