The gentle wind blew.

It was slow yet so gentle. Feeling the spirits of the winds sang me a lullaby, aiding me in my evening sleep. It would not count as a nap if it is long, is it? My eyes closed shut as I proceed to dream.

Yes, it was the same dream again. This time, I am that male still. I walked in the forest with a woman I have no clue who she could be. She have that beautiful, curly yellowish-blonde hair as she took my arms. I believed that this could be the Florentine Forest in the Gardner Continent. I wondered how it was like to wander in the beautiful forest the Afrodillens always told me off in their adventures.

I used to listen to their tales when Beo takes me on a short visit to Seignour; the town that connects both the way to Gardner and Lisle. It was fun and Beo always buy me things. I do not look much into him. He is more like a brother I never have. I love having Beo by my side. But he always it is his job to protect me. One day, I will become stronger so I can protect Beo too. And my whole kingdom. I will protect everyone.

Back to my dream, I heard the woman giggled in glee as she dragged my arms still. We then stopped at a huge tree at the middle of the Florentine Forest.

...

"Hey..." I heard the woman called me.

"Yes, dear?" I-It was not me! It was this man she held hands with! I swear in the name of Light!

"Do you know what tree is this one?" she asked me, or whoever I supposed to resemble at this point.

"I...." seemed like I failed my first attempt to charm a woman? Ah! Forget it, Charlotte! It is his vision that you are dreaming of! Pay attention! I screamed to myself as I let this continue.

"I believe this tree have a name on its own. And I bet myself it have a lot of stories to unfold by just how strong it looked. Standing tall and proud. Alive to tell the stories of the Florentine Forest to travelers and forest dwellers alike."

Wow...

T-that is quite something I never had in mind to say or talk about when I am around with people.

"Yes. This is Eckhard. The oldest tree in the Florentine Forest," the woman replied. She seemed to be happy with my earlier response of Eckhard.

"Can this tree really speak?" my body questioned her as she made us sat down on the mossy stones near Eckhard.

She nodded and gently placed my rough hand onto Eckhard's strong oaken bark. "Yes, you just have to believe that Eckhard exists to tell you the stories.

With that, I nodded as I closed my eyes. Somehow, I heard the woman's giggle following by another giggle. I was startled to see a beautiful woman in front of me upside down, looking at me with her golden yellow eyes. I realized she was covered in leaves and shrubs as I continued to stare.

"Watch where are you looking, young one~" she spoke as she poked my nose. I immediately backed away. It is not because I am scared, it was a reflex. The woman giggled as I saw more like her coming my way. My companion sat there still, seems like they know each other oddly.

"Eckhard! Eckhard! We got visitor!"

"And a new believer!"

I looked at them hovering in the skies. "Who..." I wondered as my companion answered,

"They are Dryads. Nymphs of the forests."

"I thought they are just...fairy tales..."
