Hidden Lies

I'm hidden,
Hiding in plain sight
But still I'm hidden well
Cause the lie my life revolves around
Is one that I can tell.

I tell it almost every day
And not just when I speak
A lie that comes too easily
That I should not have to speak.

I tell it every where I go
And I don't have to say a word
It's not just one, that I tell
There's so many it's absurd.

But if I stop and tell the truth
My world would come crashing down
For I have sold this lie so well
I have to tell it now.

I've told so few and I just don't know
How it is they'll take it.
But for the time I'm hidden
I'll just have to fake it.

Fake it till I make it
That line is good and well
But no one will know the truth
Of the hidden lies I tell.
