flora didn't think that going to eat with cody was a good idea, but she felt bad for him because she could tell there was tension when they were all at the club.

flora: uh, sure. pick me up at my place

flora knew she was going to regret it, but she just felt bad. she didn't think tyler would care if she went to lunch with a friend. he's never been controlling, especially if she's going with one of his friends.
flora threw on a pair of high waisted jeans, a cute black bralette, and some adidas. her hair was in a half up half down look, and she had minimal makeup on, because she didn't really have anyone to impress. even though she never dresses to impress anyone but herself.
she ran towards the door when the door bell rang. she opened it to see cody standing with a smile on his face.
"hey flo." he smiled. flora's smile faltered when he called her that. only tyler calls her that, and everyone knew that.
"hey cody, come on in. i just need to get my bag. and i don't mean to be rude but, tyler is the only one who is allowed to call me flo." she gave him a cheesy smile and he nodded.
"ready to go?" she asked once she retrieved her bag.
"of course, after you." cody said and lead her out of the house with his hand on her lower back. flora huffed and shook off his touch. she didn't think being nice to someone was going to be this hard.

flora was having a casual conversation with cody when her phone started blowing up with tweets. she picked up her phone and looked at what was going on. apparently cody had posted something about her in his snapchat story.

flora looked up from her phone to cody.
"oops?" he said and laughed, like it was no big deal.
"cody i don't think you understand. i'm with tyler. me and you are just friends and that's all we will ever be." flora said in a aggravated tone.
"i don't see the problem with me posting a picture of my friend."
"that's not the problem. the problem is that you make it seem like we're on a date when this is clearly not a date. i do not want this to seem like something more than it is." flora said.
"no no, i completely understand." he said and smiled.
flora nodded and said, "well i need to get home, tyler will be home soon and i want to spend time with him."
she could see his attitude change instantly but he said, "yeah of course. i'll drop you back by your house."
as soon as flora was about to get up she got a notification on her phone.
