SORRY FOR THE WAIT FOR THIS CHAPTER!!!

"Kanan, I thought you were going to teach me Jedi stuff." Ezra climbed Through an exhaust vent. "So far, all I'm doing is thieving, and I already knew how to do that!" He turned a corner and began climbing upward.

"Just get to Bay Seven," came Kanan's reply through the com. "Open the door, and we all get paid."

"So we steal to stay alive. See? I told you I already knew this!"

Ezra pushed the metal vent cover up and climbed out of the vent onto the roof. Standing, he didn't move for a second, staring out over Capital City.

Then a public transport ship came up from the side of the building, marking how fast time was flowing, and he quickly started moving again. They couldn't afford to lose another second.

Ezra ran to the edge of the roof and steeled himself for the far jump. He could do it, it wasn't too hard. Before he'd met Kanan, he'd thought it was just something he could do, but now he knew it was the Force. He backed up a bit, took a running start, and jumped.

He landed on the next roof with a roll, just missing a speeder flying through the air, but didn't stop, jumping again. He made the jump again, just as a second speeder glided through from the opposite direction. He smirked, but that quickly disappeared as he started to slip. He quickly pulled himself back up, and jumped one last time, landing with no difficulty, and allowed himself a smile of victory before moving back to the vents.

He slid down the convenient hole and pushed open the vent cover at the bottom. He pulled out his com. "Okay, I'm at Bay Seven."

He jumped out and down, landing on his feet. Well, mostly. He quickly picked himself back up, running to the control panel and entering the code. The door slid open, and Kanan, Zeb, and Sabine waited on the other side.

Zeb clapped slowly. "Well, Kid, you pulled it off!"

Ezra smirked. "Was there ever any doubt?"

In sync, Sabine and Zeb answered. "Yes."

They walked past him, clapping him on the shoulder as they did. Ezra pretended Sabine pulled him, leaning back dramatically and stumbling backwards, while Kanan ran to the control panel and typed in the codes.

Over the com, Hera spoke. "Almost there." The doors opened and Kanan ran out, directing Hera as she landed the Ghost smoothly. "Do we know exactly what Vizago has us stealing yet?" Hera asked.

Zeb opened one of the crates and glanced inside, before gasping and dropping the lid noisily, stumbling backwards. "Carabast," he muttered, and Kanan placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Woah!" exclaimed Sabine, leaning over them excitedly. "They're T-7 ion disrupters! These were banned by the Senate. You can short-circuit an entire ship with one of these."

Zeb stared at them in horror. "That's not why they were banned."

Kanan reached out, grabbing the T-7 Sabine was holding and placing it back in the crate, shutting it. "Get them aboard before company comes."

Over the com, Chopper whirred out a warning, saying that the Governor was coming, and they all exchanged a look. Hera, still aboard the ship answered him. "Well, stall them!"

Half of the crates were loaded as Kanan hurried them on from the Ghost ramp. "Hurry! We're running out of--"

"Time's up!" Ezra interrupted, and they stopped as troopers came at them.

More kept coming, pouring out of every corner, places Ezra hadn't seen before. They raised their blasters, and red plasma peppered the air around them. Sabine fell, Zeb was next, and then the Ghost exploded. Suddenly, a man with an ignited double-bladed lightsaber appeared in front of Ezra, and he smirked. "Do you want to know how your master died?"

Ezra backed away from the red blade just as a shot of pure plasma hit him in the stomach. He screamed.

Ezra woke up panting and took a moment to reorient himself. The durasteel walls were not the walls of his old tower or even his parent's house.

Then he remembered. He was on the Ghost. And no matter how vivid his dream had been, that was all it had been. A dream.

Except for the fact that it couldn't have been. It had seemed so real, maybe a memory?

Ezra stood up, making his way to the common room. Somehow, he knew where to go. Maybe he was starting to remember some things. He sat down at the Dejarik table, resting his face on his folded hands. It was still very early in the morning, but he was prepared to wait as long as he needed for some answers.

Hera was the first one up, and she immediately noticed the boy sitting at the table in the common room. She frowned, worried. "Ezra? Are you okay?"

He opened his eyes, and smiled at her slightly. "Can I ask you some questions?"

Hera nodded, and smiled before sitting down across from him. "What do you want to know?"
