The Not So Great Fairy

"Liiink!" Navi whined. "Where are we going! I thought I told you we need to go to Water Temple! This is the lost woods!"

"I know I know!" Link said to Navi. "It's just that this old lady in Kakiriko Village told me that there is a hidden fairy temple some where in here that I've never been to. And I'm determined to find it!"

Navi flew up and in down in front up Link's face. "We've never even seen this part of the Lost Woods before! I swear, if we stay here any longer, you're going to turn into a Stalfos!"

Link laughed. "Unlikely that'll ever happen! I grew up here, I won't turn into a stalfos!"

"Yes you will! Cause guess what, we're lost."

"We're not lost!" Link said encouragingly, looking down at the map in his hands. "See! We're right-wait...Oh! Here!...wait..."

Navi groaned. "See! We are lost!"

"No! I swear we're not!" Link looked more closely at the map. "See! That's where we are! Told you were weren't lost!"

Link began to walk forward again and Navi, still not fully believing him, followed.

Link and Navi went a little bit further. The forest started getting darker and the sounds of nature stopped.

"Hey Link." Navi called.

Link ignored her.

"Hey!"

Ignored.

"Listen!"

Still ignored.

Navi groaned and flew in Link's face and yelled "LINK!".

Link looked up from the map and gave Navi a questionable look. "Yes?"

"You're not listening to me!"

"I was keeping us from getting lost, like you told me!"

Navi huffed. "I think we should leave!"

"What?!" Link gasped. "Why?!"

"Because, there is more important stuff to do!" Navi argued.

"Look. I know defeating the Water Temple is important, but what if there is something in this place that could really help us on our journey?"

"It's just a fairy temple!" Navi yelled. "The only things that will be there are fairies! It's not like it's a great big fairy fountain with a fairy that will give you some amazing power! We've been to all of those!"

"Ah! We're here!" Link cheered, ignoring everything Navi just said.

In front of them sat one of those bombable rocks. Link lit a bomb and sat it by the rock before running behind a tree. The rock suddenly blew up and Link cheered in excitement.

Link ran to where the rock once stood to find a hole in the ground.

"Link, don't you even think about it!" Navi ordered, but Link had already jumped in.

Just like Navi had said, it was one of those normal old fairy fountains.

Link groaned in annoyance and Navi said "I told you so". Link turned around and was about to head out when he heard-

"What are you doing here?"

Link spun around to find a girl, but not just any girl, a girl with wings.

The girl wore a long white gown. The gown went down to her ankles and had loose sleeves that hung off her shoulders. She wore no shoes and little braids were woven in random parts of her hair. Now her wings, they magnificently sprouted from her back. They had a translucent look to them with a slight tint of green.
