(Eli's outfit up-top or to the side.)
I slipped on my black converse and neatly tucked my silky blonde hair under my beanie. I looked like a complete dork, and thats how I like it."Eli!!! Somebody is here for you!!" My 'angelic' little brother, Ant, yelled.
He is anything BUT angelic. I swear, my mom must've had an affair with the devil. He steals my phone all the time although he has his own. For 2 years I lived a life at school without him. Now he's starting the 6th grade and is more annoying than usual.
"I told you not to answer the door! You know what mom said about when shes not home!" I sighed at his disobedience and ran down the stairs. I heard him laugh and pull out a chair.
I looked into the living room to see one of my best friends, Dyl, standing awkwardly in the living room. She knew Ant liked her. But she didn't like him so it was awkward. This is why I never let Ant meet my friends.
"Hey Dyl, whatcha doing here?" I smiled at her and grabbed a piece of bacon off of Ant's plate. He gasped and smacked my arm.
"My brother wanted to know if you and Ant wanted a ride...." I nodded and stole another piece of bacon from his plate. He scowled at me and slid his plate to the other side of the the table.
"I swear, I'm going to starve to death." He murmured. I grinned cheekily, the bacon clearly still uneaten.
He grimaced and walked to his book bag, slung it over his shoulder, and walked out the door. Dyl chuckled and followed him out.
I scrambled to my book bag and threw on my baggy grey hoodie.
"DON'T LEAVE ME!!!" I screamed while grabbing my keys and locking the door. Dyl's brother, Zach, started the car just to scare me. And trust me, it did.
"NOOOOO!" I cried out, running to the car like the track star I know I'm not. I slid into the back seat panting like a dog.
"I-I made it." I panted out. Ant and Dyl were full out laughing while Zach just chuckled and rolled his eyes. He does that alot.
"I hope your eyes get stuck." I gritted out. He faked a mock hurt and pulled out of the drive way.
"So.... how has middle school been little man?" Zach asked Ant.
"Horrible." Ant replied simply.
"Mom said you can't curse!" I yelled at Ant. He stuck his tongue out at me. I grunted and crossed my arms like a child.
"What are you, 5?" Zach asked playfully.
"Four and a half, thank you very much." I grinned. Ant scoffed beside me.
"You act like your 2," he muttered. I ignored his rude comment. "There is this girl though....." he trailed off. "Her name is Mackenzie but everybody calls her Kenz. She's nice, funny, and out going. She's also incredibly smart. Except her brother Rick won't let her come near any boys." He finished off, sighing.
"Awwww! Ant has a wittle school crush!!" Dyl cooed. Ant blushed a deep red and sunk into his seat. Zach unlocked the doors as we approached the school.
I pushed open the door and took a deep breath of air, readying myself to start my boring day.

I sighed as I closed my locker, rubbing my fingers against my French book. I sucked in a deep breath through my teeth and looked at the ceiling, going over every french word I had memorized.
I can do this.
I can do this.
I can do this.
