Liam P.O.V

I'd been taking things slowly these past few weeks. Obviously Gem has been hurt deeply emotionally by Ace's death. I can't just ask her out again straight away. But I'm dying inside. We may be friends now but not in the way I want. I've been thinking though, about asking her out properly. In a way that she simply cannot reject. And that day is tomorrow. I'm going to take her to this really posh restraunt and have a meal with candlelight. I'll take her shopping and then we'll head home and watch her favourite movie with wine and popcorn. Just me and her. Niall is a great buddy, but I can't have him in the way tomorrow. I'll wear my neatest suit. I have about £200 which I've had to lend from my parents. I'm determined to make her mine. I decided to book the table at the restraunt.

"Hello this is Doncaster Fine Dining, what is your enquiry?"

"Hi I'm looking to reserve a table for two tomorrow?"

"Any paticular time?"

"Around 4pm?"

"4:15?"

"Sure,"

"Good. Whats your name Sir?"

"Liam Payne,"

"Other attendees name?"

"Gemmini Stafford,"

"Lovely. Okay its all booked. See you tomorow,"

"See you tomorrow,"

Gemmini P.O.V

Liam said we are going out for a meal, round town and back to his today. I'm not sure what to expect. I keep imagining Ace around. Its going to be hard, doing all this with Liam. But I couldn't say no to Liam. It was so sweet of him. I got my skirt and tights. I decided to wear my tee shirt with all kinds of flowers on. I loved it. I grabbed my high heels and prada bag. I put on all my makeup and curled my hair. All ready. I met Liam outside mine.

"Hello baby looking lovely!"

"Thanks Liam, you also,"

He smiled and we walked together. He looked so fit in that suit. No Gem. What are you saying? You cannot do that to Ace. You love only Ace. Liam is not yours. He used to bully you. Never forget that. Eventually we stopped at the end of the road and Liam called a cab. "Liam, Nandos is only a short walk,"

"We aren't going to Nandos,"

"Oh,"

The cab came and we sat there. Liam tried to make conversation but I didn't want to say to much to him. I think I'm scared I'll fall for him. I can't lower myself to do so. It'd be really awful to Ace too. He's only been dead a few months. The cab pulled over right near a really posh restraunt.

"Fine diner. Liam you know this place is really expensive?"

"Precisely," He smiled

Liam grabbed my hand and we walked in. I didn't really want to hold Liam's hand, but didn't resist in case I offended him.

"Reservation for 2. Liam Payne?" Liam asked

"This way," The waiter instructed us

We were seated at a table and a candle lit next to a vase of flowers. Liam handed me the menu. I scanned it. I wasn't sure what to order. There was so many fancy choices.

"I'll have the pasta and sauce I guess,"

"Sure. I'm going to get the same. I'll grab the waiter,"
