Chapter Nine

Ace P.O.V

I turned up at Gem's house early for us to go out. I knocked on her front door. No reply. So I decided to sit on her garden wall and wait for her to come. Finally it was ten minutes after we were supposed to be going out and she wasn't there. So I tried to open the front door. Locked. I went round the side and the back door was open. I walked in and went up to Gem's bedroom. Nobody was there. I saw envelopes on the side. I looked they were addressed to "Aunt and Uncle" "Ace" "Liam" "Niall" "Louis" "Zayn" and "Harry". I opened the one intended for myself. I read devastating words. She told me that the boys had been bullying her and she had gone to kill herself. I felt my knees buckle and myself fall to the floor. I had no idea where she had gone, so I couldn't be superhuman and rescue her. I collapsed into a heap on the ground and sobbed. I don't usually cry, but I couldn't help myself. Was this all my fault? Why didn't I notice what the boys were doing to my girl?

After a while my girl returned home. Safe. But she was with one of the demons, that Irish twat. I didn't care at this moment, though. I ran up to Gem and grabbed her holding her tight; never letting go. After I had this moment with my girl, I looked up at Niall.

"So what the fuck are you doing here?" I asked him. Gem told me that he had found her, trying to jump off a cliff. Because of him and his pals.

"Our Bully has redeemed himself," I said angry "You and your chums will be so sorry you ever did this to my girl. You little bastard. You'll be sorry. I promise that," I told him. I meant every single word.

"N-now I don't want trouble mate," He replied holding his arms up.

That was the limit. I exploded. "You don't want trouble?!?!?? You make a girl want to kill herself and you don't want trouble?!?" I screamed and I punched him in his jaw. Niall groaned and grabbed his jaw. His eyes filled with tears and he started to cry. "Now go away! I will get you and your friends tomorrow!"

Niall walked off, leaving us alone.

"Oh I'm so so sorry Gem. I should've noticed that they were bullying you,"

"No its not your fault Ace. Don' t you dare blame yourself,"

Niall P.O.V

Ace exploded on me. I told him I didn't want any trouble and he screamed at me and punched me hard in the jaw. It hurt so much, I started to cry. He was going to get me and the boys tomorrow. That should be fun. Because that was yesterday. He was going to get us today. I started to cry again. I was so scared. The boys were oblivious, but I knew. I still met them outside Lou's as normal though. I got there. "Hey Niall buddy, whats wrong?" Louis asked taking a glance at my tear stained face. "Yesterday Gem tried to jump off the cliff. She tried to kill herself. I stopped her and I took her home. Ace punched me and said he is going to get us today,"

"I'd like to see him try," Louis said but he still looked anxious. We all set off our usual way. Ace was there. Gem was too, but she was stood to the side.

Harry P.O.V

Ace was in the alley, waiting for us. Once he saw us he walked right up to Niall. He kicked him in the male parts and then grabbed him, punching him. He then kicked Niall in the face. I saw blood trickle down Niall's face. That was it. I ran forward and started hitting Ace. "Get off him!" I yelled. Ace grabbed me and started to punch me and kick me. I hit him back. Louis, Liam and Zayn joined in. Ace was very good at fighting though and he quickly threw us all off. "I'd hurt you guys," He smiled "But I'll hurt Niall. Becuase that'll hurt you all,"

Then he grabbed a knife and stabbed Niall in the stomach. Gem screamed. Niall had a face of terror and pain. Ace then grabbed Louis and slammed him on the floor and kicked him in the head, causing him to bleed. He then slashed the knife across Liam's cheek and threw me against the wall, banging my head against it. I wouldn't let him win. I fought back with all I had. Finally Gem pulled Ace off. They then left us. I was in tons of pain. Louis was unconcious. I felt incredibly dizzy. Liam was okay, although bleeding and limping. Zayn was nowhere in sight. He had managed to flee. Niall was lying on the floor, in agony, still concious which was tortue. I walked over to him. "Niall?" "I'm so sorry, but I'm going to put you unconcious. I'm going to stamp on your head. It will be painful for a minute or two but after that, you'll black out and you won't be in such agony. Okay?"

He couldn't reply, so I shut my eyes and stamped on his head. I heard a muffled scream then he became unconcious. "Is he out?" Liam asked. I nodded.

Liam P.O.V

After Harry put Niall out, we had Niall and Louis unconcious and Zayn nowhere in sight. Both me and Harry were quite badly injured. We had to call an ambulance. I got my phone out.

"999 what is your emergency?"

"Can you send an ambulance? Alleyway near Doncaster High School. Two boys badly bleeding, both unconcious, one's been stabbed on the floor. Me and my friend are bleeding and injured and one of our friends has gone missing,"

"Yes Sir, an ambulance is on its way,"

I sat down with Harry and we hugged each other. "Li-liam?"

"Yeah?"

"I think I'm going out,"

"Its shock. Your okay,"

I held Harry as he drifted unconcious.It was just me now. And I was scared. Luckily, the ambulance came and took Louis, Niall and Harry first. "Are they okay?" I sobbed

"Yes son. Whats your name?"

"Liam,"

"Right Liam. Your badly injured and your in shock. We'll take you to Hospital,"

We was driven to Hospital. I was took into the emergency room. They gave me oxygen, checked my blood pressure and cleaned my wounds. I was X-rayed. "You have a badly bruised ankle. But nothing major," The Doctor said, bandaging it up.

Niall P.O.V

Ace beat me up and then he stabbed me. It was agony. The pain was awful. I fell to the ground, with no strenght for anything. I watched my blood fall from my wound. I lay there in pain. The only thoughts that went through my head were "I'm going to die,"

I saw Louis fall unconcious and Zayn flee. After Ace had gone, Harry came over and told me he'd put me out. That  would be a blessing. He stamped on my head and he was right, it hurt horribly for a minute and then I went. Out of pain.

Next thing I knew, I awoken in a Hospital Bed. "I'm alive," I said slowly reaching out

"Yes you are," The Doctor smiled "After forty eight hours!"

"I've been out for that long?"

"Yes,"

My wound's were stiched and I was not in terrific pain. I had swelling on my head, from Harry.

Then Harry, Zayn and Liam entered. "Hi Niall," Zayn smiled

"Zayn! Your okay!" I yelled

"Shhh! Yes, I ran off with just a few scrapes. I went home,"

"Ouch look at your head," Harry said sheepishly "I'm sorry Niall,"

"No Harry. You gave me a blessing. You put me out of my suffering. Like when they put an animal to sleep. Like that,"

The boys simply smiled.

"Wait.. where is Louis?" I asked

"He is still out, Niall," Liam said looking directly at me

"Why?" I said starting to cry

"Shush now. He fell funny or something," Harry said

"Louis!" Was all I could scream.
