There once was a young girl who was wrongly accused for being a witch. Every man, woman, and child had to agree with the judges, and was forced to hang the poor child. She was taken to the forest to be hung by the townsfolk. Her chilling last words before her neck was snapped were as followed,
Those before and those to come,
Help me perish those who do wrong
Such as assume such innocence
As to be such wickedness
Anyone subject to this case
Will lose those dear to fill my place
Hung by the tree that will cursed this land
In the air their bodies will stand. They thought nothing much of it, but soon the children started to disappear. Only after a horrifying search to the forest reveled what the witch had meant on her curse. There on the lower ring of branches, every missing child swaying in the wind, held up by only a rope around their necks.
That's the tale of the town of Lunacrest. Many believe it's a myth, until fresh-out-of-college professor Adeline White comes knocking at the gates. White studies the interpretation of the world through human eyes, and why we believe in such things as Gods, the paranormal, and magic. Her research brings her to the haunted town to investigate the witchcraft case that cursed the town. But what she uncovers reawakens the restless spirit of the witch girl. Now it's up to her to help settle this soul and save the children before it's too late.
