You have the opportunity to model in the upcoming show A Night to Remember at the La Vie country club and hotel. You will wear at least one outfit as we fundraise for domestic awareness selling off the clothes you model. If you are selected you will attend a week long training camp on our private beach in La Jolla while enjoying bonding time with the other models at our beach house. Please remember we only want the best models so we can have a successful fashion show raising money for our cause. "I have been spending hours putting these dumb posters up and still no one has called you" Heather whines as she puts her last poster up.
I too felt defeated. I hadn't gotten a single call for this amazing opportunity.
"Let's just go back to the house and get ready for the meeting we have today. I'll make the official announcement there that tryouts are next week. "
We slowly walked back to the house hoping to hear good news about our posters.
As soon as we got inside and sat down on the couch Kaitlyn comes and sits down next to me with a big smile.
"So I have received at least 40 calls asking for you. Your modeling news spread like a wildfire and I told them tryouts would be this Wednesday as it will probably take multiple days to go through everyone and make our decisions. I know it's earlier then you originally planned but I think that it should be fine. Your board is going to consist of me and you and probably Kayla as she is chapter Vice President. I'm going to make criteria right now as to what we will vote about on them. "
I was overwhelmed this was all happening way too fast.
"And Heather you have to try out you don't just get to be in it because your best friend is in charge. " Kaitlyn says with an apologetic look on her face.
Heather is stiff next to me as Kaitlyn walks away.
"When did she become a class A bitch?" Heather says in annoyance. Heather knows she would make it on the modeling team either way as she's gorgeous and can already walk confidently in heels.

"You know either way that you would make it you are drop dead gorgeous!" I exclaim.

Kaitlyn immediately turns around, "I heard that. And I also expect Athena to walk down the runway a few times. See you in two days for girls many many tryouts." As she walks out of the house.

"Oh my gosh. So now I need to come up with criteria and start calling people to come help with the training in La Jolla. "

"Don't worry I have this super cool aunt who is amazing at hair and makeup and her husband is in charge at Olive modeling agency in LA. So I can definitely have her come out along with some of his company's workers. " Heather says with a beaming white smile.

"Lovely call them. I'm going to go to my bed and Pinterest outfit ideas for the show. "

"Ohhhh no you're not. It's Roni's birthday tonight and you promised to meet her at that club. So you can go get your little ass up that stairs and into a shower while I find outfits for the two of us. " Heather says a she shoos me up the stairs and into the adjoining bathroom between our rooms.

I grab my towel and turn on the shower to make it super hot. I quickly peel off my clothes hopping in as a I scrub my body leaving my hair be as I want to curl it slightly when I get out. I put on a gentle face scrub to get rid of any marks that might have resided on my face after all the stress I've been through and rinse completely off. As I turn off the shower heather barges in luckily I'm covered by a curtain.
"I found the perfect dress for you in my closet. It's a purple velvety dress with spaghetti straps that cross over and tie in the back. You can pair it with some black strapping heels and you'll be good to go. " Heather says as she puts down the outfit and leaves me be.
