Around the city where ( Y/n ) works at was a forest where old belongings are abandoned. Deep inside the forest was the ghostly tune of a piano. A cat was playing the abandoned instrument with another listening quietly to the song it was playing.
As the feline finished its song with a graceful piano riff, it looked at its spectator, who sat on top of the piano.
"What do you think Hungary? I recently composed this piece,"
"Oh, its wonderful, Mr. Austria, like all your other songs," The spectator smiled, "It's amazing how you can compose such beautiful piece of work in the midst of a war."
"Nothing much has happened in our post, so I had the time. The Allies rarely do their activities here in this area," Austria jumped down from the piano keys, "And remember the last time they tried to stand up against us? It's true that we were beaten down to a pulp, but we were able to defeat them in the end."
"Yes, we were," Austria and Hungary heard a familiar voice. Two of their allies emerged from the darkness of the forest.
"Germany! Prussia! What happened?" Austria was taken aback when he saw the wounds on the both of them.
"Germany got beat up by Russia, China and England. I fought America head on!" Prussia laughed.
"This is no laughing matter, bruder. We lost Italy and Japan," Germany reminded his reckless elder brother, "The Allies have gotten stronger and stronger while we haven't progressed much."
"What happened to Italy and Japan? Were they captured?" Austria asked worrily for his teammates.
"Nein, they're just lost. But there is a possibility. We lost track of them while they were being chased by France. Me and Germany spied on the Allies this morning and they confirmed France missing," Prussia explained, "There's a chance that they lost France while they were being chased, but I won't say that this makes the situation better."
"And so, with our cons outweighing the pros against fighting the Allies, and with two of our teammates gone missing, Austria and Hungary, namely the both of you, will be transferred from your post to the front lines," Germany declared.
"Congrats on being awesome at your job, but not as awesome as me!" Prussia hugged the both of them.
"I don't want to hear that from you," Austria grumbled.
A slight crack, possibly from a twig could be heard. Hungary was the first to be alert.
"Ssh, nobody make a sound!" She looked around at the forest.
"What's the matter?" Germany tilted his head.
"Probably she can't handle being with the awesome me!" Prussia joked.
"Quiet!" Hungary hissed at the albino cat.
"It seems that we are being watched," Austria leered at the surroundings.
A certain cat watched the Axis Powers quietly from a bush. It kept staring at the cats, waiting to obtain new information. Little did it know that a small yellow bird was creeping up next to it.
