I'm laying in my bed, under my covers. Only wearing a black tank top, and purple boxers with my orange, fuzzy blanket over my idle body. Laying there, thinking about tomorrow. A Saturday with literally, nothing to do. I lay there, contemplating on what I want to do, as I start to close my eyes. My heart rate gets slower, as I slowly fall asleep.

Hours go by, and I eventually wake up. I get out of my bed, even though I want nothing more, then to lay in it for the rest of my life. I leave my bedroom, and walk down the hall that seems like it's going on forever until I reach my bathroom. I walk in and lock the door.

I stand in front of the mirror as I look upon myself.

"Couldn't get any uglier, I suppose."

I take my shirt off of my body and continue to look in the mirror. I stare at myself for a minute, and then take off my boxers, and throw them on the floor. I pull my shower curtain to the side and turn on the water, making it scolding hot. I walk into the shower and stand there, as I let the water go down my pale body.

I sit there, thinking about my life and how I eventually, want it to end. But only if its end would be quick and painless.

"Maybe, I might get tortured... Eh...". An hour goes by and I turn the shower off and dry myself.

I step out and put on my freshly washed underwear, and pull up my black skinny jeans. I look in the mirror and stare at my semi wet body, looking deeply at my reflection like I am the only person alive in this world.

I mess with my long, black hair, uncaring of what it looks like. I put on my shirt "It's obviously, a Slayer kinda day." I tell myself as I walk out of my bathroom.

I walk downstairs, and step into my kitchen. I see my sister Maddie, sitting on the barstool in front of the counter

"Hey, Preston. What are you doing today?" She says, looking at me, with her bright, greenish blue eyes.

"Oh, nothing. Like, always." I say as I open my refrigerator door, grabbing the orange juice.

"Well, I'm gonna be hanging out with Eddie today, care to join?"

Eddie was her boyfriend. He is in a band, just like her ex boyfriend.

"Not really." I say, with an emotionless voice.

"I think you need to make some friends, Preston. I'm getting really worried about you. You don't talk to anyone, you barely ever leave your room unless it is to eat." She says, worried I will snap at her and yell.

"Okay." I say, not wanting to fight.

She tries to say something but, I couldn't hear her because I started walking upstairs. I walk into my room, and lay on my bed. I pull out my phone to see if anyone has texted me. "Nope."

Hours go by, as I just lay there. I hear the front door open, and someone talking. I hear a females voice yell my name.

"Preston! Get downstairs!"

"Hold on, mom. Ill be down in a minute!" I yell back, as I throw my phone on my bed. I open my door and walk downstairs. "What?" I say, wondering why she called me down, considering she usually never does.

"Do you need some money?" My mom says, giving me a strange look.

"Uhh. Sure?" I said, wondering if she's going to tell me she has cancer.

"So, take this forty dollars. Go buy some pot." She says, laughing as she throws two twenty dollar bills at my chest.

She grabs her purse, and sits on the couch in the living room.
