It was ten o' clock at night all ready.
"Brayden, go home, and that's an order! I'll find it and call you when I do." I demanded.
"Rose," he started. "It's not a good idea,"
"Brayden!"
"I'm going, I'm going."
I kept searching with the metal detector for any sort of door. Eventually I gave up and sat against a tree. My back drenched with sweat from the previous hot sun. I let a deep breath out and watched as the cloud of my breath went into the air and disappeared.
Suddenly a bag was thrown over my head and I was thrown over someone's shoulder.
I kicked and clawed and tried to get out of his or her's grasp.
"Just stay still!" I heard the person say. I could tell by the voice that it was a boy.
"What do you want?" I screamed. "Money? I've got plenty of it!"
"I don't want your dumb money. Your just another part of my collection."
I was thrown into a car, roughly. "When you get to our destination you will meet, Erin, Amber, Penelope, Ellen, and Renee."
"As in Renee Berkshire?"
"Thats the one,"
"Your one sick son of a bi-" I was about to say but was slapped hard across the face.
"Just shut up," a woman snarled. "Oh Tracey will love you!" she said as she pulled the bag off of my head.
"Tracey Berkshire?"
"Oh yay! You know her!"
Finally the truck stopped.
"Amy!" The woman called. "Last doll!"
I was once again thrown over the man's shoulder.
He threw me into a chair and chained my arms and feet to it.
"I'll take good care of her, doll face! And I won't forget the rules!" a girl, I assumed was Amy, called.
She took out some pink eyeshadow. "Close your eyes, or your gonna get hurt!" she growled. "Here are the rules."
I nodded.
"Never try to escape, never. The consequences will be horrible. When we feed you, say please, say thank you, and eat it all, even if it's poop. Always cooperate. Finally, don't speak unless spoken to. If you can do that, Tracey will love you to bits and pieces."
After she finished that, she finished my make up. Then she gave me a sponge bath and dressed me in a frilly pink dress and curled my long, Rose red hair.
Then they brought me to a room. In it was six chairs. All with a girl in it, except for one. They sat me in the empty chair.
"You girls have some chatter time! I'm going to go pick up Tracey!" the woman from the car exclaimed.
All the girls looked at me with sadness. "Well," one of them said. "I'm Erin."
"She's Amber, then Penelope, Ellen, and Renee."
"How'd you know that?" Erin asked.
"The car, the man told me."
"Well who are you?"
"Rosalie."
Suddenly we heard footsteps and then a giggle. "Ok, Tracey is home. Just stare , don't talk, and always cooperate." Penelope whispered. Then she looked off into the distance and barely moved.
"I'm home Dolly's!" Tracey called. She took a glance at all the "dolls", then finally me. "Daddy you got me a new dolly!" she cried out in happiness.
She ran upstairs and I could hear thanks.
Then she ran back downstairs and looked at me. She ran her pointer finger through the curl in front of my face. "What's your name?"
"Rosalie," I responded, then I remembered the rule, and I didn't say anything else.
"Your pretty, did daddy get you anything to eat?"
"No,"
She stopped playing with my curls and ran upstairs. She came back down with a warm cup of cheese chowder.
"I'll unchain you so you can eat, but don't pull any funny business." she said as she set the chowder on the floor. She unchained my arms and handed me the bowl. Then she gave me a hateful glare, and I remembered another rule.
"Thank you," I said with a fake, but warm, smile.
"Your welcome!" she sang. "What about you other dolls! Did you eat today?"
"No," they all said at once. I sipped another sip of the warm soup.
Soon all four of the people I had met came downstairs with a bowl of soup. They handed each girl a bowl.
"You guys can talk, I've got homework," Tracey sighed as she walked away.
"Usually Tracey chooses one of us to 'snuggle' with her." Erin told me. "Considering your new, she will probably choose you,"
Soon Tracey came back down. "Daddy I want.... hmmm... Rosalie!" Tracey told her so called "dad".
He unchained me and put my hand in Tracey's. "C'mon Rose!"
She walked me up to a pink room with a king sized bed.
"I'll be getting dressed, don't look,"
I obeyed and sat on her bed. I don't know why, but I was terrified, yet totally calm.
I was terrified that I was going to die, but I was also so calm that the fact that I had to obey everything didn't bother me, so I listened.
"All done!" Tracey called as she skipped through the door. "Do you like to snuggle?"
This kind of threw me off. Should I say yes, and make her happy, or should I say no, and not cuddle. I could get hurt if I say no, so yes it is.
"Yes,"
"Good! Cause I love having a cuddle buddy!" She said as she hopped into the bed. She got under the covers and I followed her lead.
Then she grabbed my hand.
"Your the officer aren't you?"
"Yes..."
"Well since you couldn't find me, your gonna pay, your gonna be my test dummy. Or should I say... Test Dolly."
