Farkle's POV
Me and Lucas were at the subway station waiting for Riley and Maya. "Riles I don't wanna go to school" a voice cried to her friend. I turned around and saw Maya and Riley walking down the stairs. Riley rolls her eyes at Maya and smiles. "Guess what!" Riley screams to us when she sees us. "What?" Lucas asks confused. "Maya has finally agreed to try out for cheerleading!" Riley says excitedly. Lucas and I look at my shocked. "Yeah yeah" Maya mutters while aboarding the subway. We walk after her, me and Lucas still in shock. We get to school and go to History. "Maya" Missy says walking to her. Maya looks and her. "I heard you were trying out for cheerleading. "Unfortunately I am" Maya says in a bored tone. Missy squeals excitedly. "That's great!" She says and claps her hands. She waves goodbye and sits in her seat. Maya looks confused but shakes it off. 'What just happened?' I ask myself.

We were in the gym waiting for Maya's tryout to start. "You're up!" Missy says to Maya. Maya looks at us and says "let's hope I fail this tryout". She then started to do all these flips and cheers. She was amazing if I say so myself! "Maya Hart" Missy said dramatically. Maya looked at her waiting for an answer. "Welcome to the squad " Missy said and hugs her. Maya hugs back with a shocked look on her face.
I was walking Maya home since Lucas was on a Date with Riley. Maya now lived in the same apartment building as Riley so I knew exactly where to go. We walked to her door and she turned around to face me. "Thanks for walking me home" she said with a smile. "Anytime" I said. We both started to lean in. And the next thing I knew her soft lips were on mine. After a few seconds we pulled away to catch our breath. "Whoah..." We both say in unison. "Maya Hunter will you go on a date with me?" I asked hopefully. She giggles and nods her head. "I would love to Farkle Minkus" she says smiling. I kiss her one last time and then walk away. 'Oh I think that I found myself a cheerleader ' I think to myself.
