ever since josh and amanda became best friends, things went wrong. i mean, yeah, there was some good, but not much. would it be right to fall in love with your best friend just to make things right?
It was finally the day where the cast list came out. Josh went home after what happened. "Mom, are they up yet?" I yelled down to her from my room. "Let me check!" After a couple of seconds, she responds, "Yes! There up!" I ran downstairs.
"Charlie Brown.. Joshua Colley!"
"Gregory Diaz as Schroeder. Yeah, he was good."
"Aidan Gemme is Snoopy."
"Aww Milly got Sally!"
"Amanda Padovan as.. Lucy!"
"And Jeremy T. Villas is Linus. What a good cast." I faced my mom. She smiled. "Congrats on Lucy!" I smiled. "Thank you! I'm gonna go text Josh." I walked back upstairs, grabbed my phone, and texted Josh.
me: hey cast list is uppp
josh: omg really
me: can i tell you
josh: but i wanna be surprised
me: then you better check quick
josh: ononoonononon
me: yesyeysyeyeysyeys
josh: i got charlie brown
josh: shit im happy
me: !!1!!11!!11!
josh: and you got lucy
josh: were goals
me: stop im blocking you
josh: no
me: fine
I laughed at myself, and shut my phone off. I edited all of the covers we made and posted them online. I checked Twitter. The fanart, fanfiction, and fake drama about me and Josh already came into play. 'They've been dating for months!' 'Cutest Broadway Kid Couple' 'Is it all just an act?'
My phone dinged. It was Lily.
Lily: Your dating Josh?
me: mhm
Lily: Is this a prank?
me: well, just bc ur my best friend, we planned it to be like a prank but then he kissed me so idk
Lily: HEKSSED YOU
me: ya
me: no biggie
Lily: BIG BIGGE
Lily: YOUNG WOMAN WE ARE GOING TO TALK ABOUTT THISS
me: doubt ittt
Lily: I WOULD COME OVER BUt im bust asf
me: told youuu now leave me alone i gotta get dressed and go to 54 below bc i guess im singing there???
Lily: Have fun and don't kiss anyone
me: no promises(;
I turned my phone off and walked over to my closet. I decided to go for a 'Yeah, I'm 13 but I look 17.' look.

I was satisfied with my look and continued on with my hair and makeup. I keep my makeup look simple. Mascara, some brown eye shadow, eyeliner, pink lips, and some highlighter. For my hair, I curled it into tiny curls and left them down and flowy. My mom knocked on my door, "Are you almost ready? We need to pick up Joshua to." I groaned. "Josh is coming? Okay. I'll be out in a second." I put on my shoes, grabbed my phone and wallet and walked downstairs.
Luca was next. He wore a plaid shirt and black jeans. He combed his hair, but still had Converse on. "Alright. Lets go." My mom looked nice herself. She wore a maroon shirt with black leggings. I walked out to the car, letting Luca sit in the front, since I wanted to sit by Josh.
It was about a 15 minute drive until he was sitting next to me. He looked more attractive than usual, and I'm used to him dressing nice. He was wearing a black button down and black jeans. Josh laughed, "Were twinning." I looked down. I was wearing all black, he was wearing all black. I laughed, "I guess we are."
