(Y/N) POV
I felt myself being shaken. I opened my eyes to see two humans, and a black blob with a skeleton face. The first human had closed eyes and a purple and blue sweater. The other human had pale skin, red eyes, rosy cheeks, and a green and yellow sweater. The skeleton was a black blob that had cracks on his skull. I saw that I was wearing a (f/c) sweater rather than the clothes I was wearing during the fight.
"Where am I? Who are you?"
"Frisk, Gaster, and Chara."
"What?! You're not Chara!"
"Uh yeah I am."
I looked to my side to see, myself!? I was in a hospital bed with Chara and Paperjam at my side. I pointed to my brother.
"That's Chara! Not you!"
"That's your Chara."
"My Chara?"
"Yep."
"Where even am I?"
"This is the void. Where AUs and timelines meet."
I stood there dumbfounded.
"Huh?!"
Faster opened windows in the darkness to show different versions of me. One that me and Paperjam were caretakers and everyone was children! Another that he was a vampire and I was a painter! There were many more, too many to count.
"W-what is this?"
"AUs."
"Alternate Universes."
"(Y/N) we need to find a way to bring you back-"
"How do you know my name?!"
"Checked your stats."
A black box with white trim and words appeared in front of me. Same with Frisk, Chara, and Gaster.

Bro's voice rang out.
"(Y/N), please, just wake up . ."
"Chara!"
I banged on the window to my home.
"He can't hear you."
"You're in a coma. And you're stuck here until you admit."
"Admit what?"
"Dunno. It just has to be something that will reconnect you to your world."
"How come you're still here than?"
"Because, no matter how many reasons we have to go back, there is nothing for us to go back to."
"We are from an original timeline, but we got doubled."
"Our doubles messed with the coding and we ended here."
"We stay to help lost souls like you from AUs and timelines."
"Make the right choice."
I thought long and hard. I could just say I love my world, but I know the one this that will most likely bring my back. I suck in lots of air.
"Paperjam! I love you despite everything we've gone through! Let's continue our life together!"
Two buttons appeared in front of me.
[CONTINUE] [RESET]
"What is that?"
"You can either choose to wake up, or reset to when you came to Underhigh."
What will you choose?
[CONTINUE] or [RESET]
