Dancing Hope (J-Hope) (Part 2)

My attention was drawn back as the loud music came to an end. His black tank top which was quite loose before seemed tight on him due to his sweat. He walked towards me while using a white towel to wipe the sweat off of him. It was oddly satisfying to see him drag the towel around himself as he breathed heavily. I'm weird, I know.

"How was it?" He asked in a playful tone while he continued to wipe off the sweat. It may be me being weird again but it really did seem like his eyes were sparkling as he stood there awaiting my response. He reminded me a lot of a puppy.

"It was great." I replied, still not able to make eye contact longer than a few seconds. Sure, I didn't really pay attention but knowing Hoseok and his work ethic, it was probably breathtaking.

He sighed a breath of relief, or i'd like to believe, and proceed to ruffle my hair up. Yes, he ruffled my hair up and my heart pounded to the point i'm sure he'd be able to take the sound of it and dance to it. I looked up to him with my eyebrows furrowed and my lip pouting and that seemed to be funny to him as he let out a laugh in which he opened his entire mouth and crinkled his nose while closing his eyes completely shut. If he was a puppy, he'd be the type you'd want to always hold and never want to let go.

His laughter filled the dance room as I looked on quite surprised. He was a breath of fresh air and I can see why he added Hope to his stage name. That smile of his can make a bad day turn good and end world war. Actually i'm not sure about that last one.

He finally regained composure as he looked at me with a small smile.

"It's weird how i've only started talking to you just now, but I feel like i've known you for awhile. Maybe it's because i've been seeing you around here for months and we always made some sort of eye contact. I've been paying attention to you quite a bit. I'm glad we're finally able to talk."

I understood what he was saying to a certain degree. Talking to him felt comfortable even though we haven't talked before. At the same time it felt weird but that feeling just comes from the fact that i'm pretty darn shy.

"Do you dance?" He asked and this time it was my turn to laugh.

"Not at all. I'm training to be a coordinator." I replied truthfully and it seemed to have shocked him as he raised his eyebrows and his mouth dropped a little.

"Wow. Wasn't expecting that. Coordinate me sometime." He said with a big smile and a wink to which I can only nod before looking down once more. It was hard to keep up with his level of enthusiasm and energy.

I looked at the clock on the wall above the mirror and my eyes bulged as I saw that I was tardy beyond belief for my class.

"I'm really late for my class. I gotta go." I quickly got up and headed for the door before I felt a large hand on my wrist that spun me around. I finally know how those girls in dramas feel.

"Skip it." He said with a smile as if it was the easiest thing in the world.

"I can't. It's a class I need if I really want to get serious about this coordination thing."

As I said that he let go, but there was this strange sensation that was on my wrist where he held me and it feels really strange.

"Then come back tomorrow. And the day after that. And the day after that."

He was pouting and practically begging me to come back. I think I said something about him being like a puppy before. I take that back. He is a puppy.

"Don't worry. I come every day, and besides, why do you want me to come so bad?" I asked this honestly and really wanted to know why the dancing hope was so fixated on me coming. As these thoughts roamed my head, I was roughly pulled into him and my face was buried in his chest.

Wait. His chest?

With those strong arms around me I knew what had just happened. He was hugging me. I'm being hugged. I tried wiggling around hoping to escape his warm embrace but nothing would work. It would take the sound of the door opening for him to let go. I quickly turned to look and there was a boy who had on a beanie which covered most of his hair except the fringe which fell over his eyes. He wore a hoodie with the words BTS plastered on it and I knew that he had to be a member.

His mouth was slightly opened as he alternated between looking at me and Hope, confused by what he probably just saw. He then quickly bowed multiple times before giving a small smile.

"My name is Jimin."
