She looked weary from the long week. She tried to cover up the bags under her eyes with the layers and layers of makeup but alas, her dreariness shown through. Though her body wasn't exactly physically ready, her mind certainly was. It seemed she might accidentally overwork herself, not being at all aware of her physical state.
In the past week, she had only gotten 23 hours of sleep between the past 7 days.
And the school had been nothing but help to her, surprisingly.
She had no homework through that whole week, and so she was incredibly grateful to get to immediately lay down on the couch and watch YouTube series as soon as she got home.
As a final effort to save the date, Vanessa managed to get 7 hours of sleep on that Friday, and that made all the difference.
